Real scenario of LPU

I applied for SRM, VIT, BHARAT and LPU. I opted lpu and didn't go for the remaining because lpu provides the best scholarship and also the infrastructure is good here. I got a 30% scholarship on the basis of my lpunest as well as 12tg percentage. The minimum requirement for admission is that you must have 60% marks on the 12th board. On the very first day of college, the whole process was so smooth and spontaneous that I don't even feel anything like I came for engineering admission. The staffs and the volunteers were so responsible and helpful that they always guide us in a better way. The whole process is divided into several parts and all the parts have different locations but in sequence. Overall the whole process is smooth and simple.

I opted for a Bachelors degree in Computer science and engineering. I opted for this course because nowadays the market and the demand of technological persons are more. The job opportunities are more. And the college has a reputation in the placement of Computer Science students. In the class, there are 60 to 70 students. But the access to the faculty is always open during class hours. Every faculty must be a master of that subject and many more are PhD of the subject. The faculty here is so intelligent and the way they give the lecture is easily understandable. There are so many exams at the university. Starting from the class assignment to a final term paper. In the second week from the course starting date, the class assignment took place and there are 2 assignments before the midterm in each subject. And after that, you will have a midterm and then one more assignment and then the end term. It is easy to pass the exams if you have attended the classes regularly.

At the time of placement, the companies hiring you will provide you with the internship and you will get paid accordingly. Depending on the major course you selected, there are several types of projects you can go for.

From 5th semester onwards the students became eligible for sitting in placement drives and to get internships. Approx all the well known multinational companies came to our campus like Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Accenture, HP and many more. The highest package is of 42lpa offered by Microsoft for the role of developer. 95 percent of the student, who is eligible for the placement, get placed. The eligibility criteria depends on companies. My personal opinion after getting the degree is to get a job as a software developer.

The fees for the course increases yearly and now it is 1 lakh 3 thousand. In 2019 the fee was 90k and I got a scholarship also. It was based on the marks in lpunest. The fees of the college are the same for around all the courses.

The campus life is one of the best in India. There are cultural fests taking place on daily basis and the participants are rewarded also for the same. One of the biggest fests in one world. In the library, books are always available. There are more than 3 libraries on campus. But the central library is the biggest and have books from all courses. On the campus, the sports life is good as there is a playground for all the sports. There are so many students organizations and clubs run by students.

The hostel facility of the campus is also very good. We are having the facilities of a single room to 6 seaters and also a dormitory with a capacity of 12 to 16 people in one room. Along with that, you have a choice to select AC and non AC rooms and the number of persons in a room. The price decrease as the number of person increases. Now talking about the meal and menu, first of all, every hostel has its mess facility. The food is fresh and hygienic. They are rich in vital nutrients. There is only a vegetarian mess. The whole campus is vegan. At the time of admission only you were asked if you want to join the hostel. After that also you can join it.
