Admission to DTU is done through the JAC. You have to apply at the JAC website. There are total of 5 colleges under JAC ie DTU, NSUT , IIITD, IGDTUW, DSEU. I have applied for NSUT and IIITD. I took admission to DTU due to the good placement stats. The rank required for this program is around 10k-11k. Now the counseling is done through online mode. You don't need to be physically present at any venue. You will get notified whenever a seat is allotted to you. You have to fill the preference list accordingly.

I chose this course as this makes you industry-ready. The faculty is great here. professors are quite experienced and professional. Many professors are included in the world's top scientists. The teaching quality is not that great but professors are knowledgeable and can provide good guidance. There are two exams in a semester: mid-term and end-term. The difficulty level is average. If you have studied the whole semester you can score good marks.

Internships opportunities are also great. Many companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Sprinklr, Deshaw visits for internships to offer roles of a web developer, software developer, Software Engineer. The highest stipend is 2L and this internship can convert in PPO if they are impressed by your work. You can apply for an internship in the third or fourth year.

DTU placement stat is great. There are a lot of companies that visit DTU during placement drives. These companies include Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Sprinklr, Deshaw, Goldman Sachs, Myntra, and many more. The highest international package is around 1-1.2 crore and the average package is around 12 lacs. Roles offered are of software developer, web developer, etc. In this branch, around 90% of students got placed while the total Percentage of the whole DTU is around 75%.

The yearly fees now of BTech at DTU is around 2L per year and you can see around a 5-7% hike in fees every year. There are many scholarships for the economically weaker section. DTU provides economic assistance to such students but you should have all the proper documents ie income certificate, electricity bill, other bills, bank statements, etc. There is also a scholarship provided by the Delhi government that can give 100%, 50%, 25% reimbursement in tuition fees according to annual income and also a number of scholarships that you can apply for. DTU notifies about all the scholarships. Also, there is a University internship program that can provide a few bucks, if you are willing to work.

DTU campus life is great. The campus is quite big and lush green. It hosts a big annual fest called manifest in the month of February. It is considered to be one of the biggest fests in Asia. DTU central library is also one of the largest. You can easily find any book here. The Sports campus is also good. There is a football field, basketball court, lawn tennis court, and an indoor campus for badminton and table tennis. There are great facilities for sports on the sports campus. There are a lot of societies of Every type. There are dance, coding, singing, acting, modeling societies. There are also robotics and AI societies too. Every type of society is here, you just name it.
