LPU is a good college

It was quite easy. First of all we have to give LPUNEST exam for entrance and scholarship also. I got a 30% scholarship. Then you have to take all the original documents with you in college and verify them. Then they will give you a set of forms you have to fill, it's a bit long process. After the verification we will be headed towards ID making process and in a week or 10 days we will get our ID till then we have a Paper given to us for entry in hostels and college.

The examination in the college is very well done in time and in a systematic way. We will get our datesheet on the LPU app and the venue of the exam. The teachers are on time before exam And if you have any doubt regarding the exam or any problem you face during exam you can complaint against it on the app.

In 3rd year, the college will enroll you in many events, hackathons, competitions to showcase your talent and get appreciation. There is a summer internship program in which they offer courses which students can do or the students can do internship from outside the college and we have to make a report of the internship. Internships are offered by the college for the students.

From the 4th year or 3rd year, the students can take part in placements offered by college. There is a huge number of companies which comes every year and many of them are mass recruiters. The average salary given by mass recruiters is 2 to 4 lakhs. After that many companies also offers high packages to the students who perform well and have a good skill set. Around 70-80% students get placed every year. My plan is to get placement from the college if I get a good package.

Fees is kinda high. And it increases every year. If you got scholarship then it is ok but overall in everything the fees they take is bit over. In the hostel the fees for hostel itself is very much plus you have to take the mess different from hostel, the mess is not included in the hostel fees which I think is very expensive.

First of all there is a freshmen induction for the freshers mainly in August. It is a good event. And then every month 1 or 2 singers or actors come for the promotion of their songs or movies and the events are very good. The library of LPU is the biggest in india. you can get almost every book you need regarding your syllabus and many other books. The management of library is great. The classrooms are very good, there are charging ports in BOYD(bring yout own device) classrooms. Almost all the rooms have ac, sometimes they don't work but in couple of days they are fixed. The sports department in the college is very good. We get all the facilities and many sports meet happens in couple of months. The grounds are very good and big. There are many organisations and clubs in the college which one can take part in. There is division of student welfare in college where all the meets of organization happens all the practices and many events happens there.

There are different types of room like 1 seater 2 seater 3, 4 or dormitory and the prices changes accordingly and there are two types in each AC and NON AC. Cleaning is done everyday by cleaners and you can schedule by yourself for the cleaning. The mess food is ok. There is a 2 week timetable ie. The menu repeats every 2 weeks. Standard mess is recommended to get extra benefits. Registration for the hostel and mess is easy you can register online or can go to the office. But the prices of hostel and mess are bit high. If you are thinking of PG or renting outside there are rooms available near the college in 2-3 kms radius for which you have to go around 30 min earlier from the room to college.
