Remarks

1. The first and most important reason of choosing NIT hamirpur is that i was getting branch of my choice.2. Second being that NIT hamirpur is the second most beautiful campus amogst the colleges in INDIA.3. I have also read the reviews at College dunia, College Pravesh and other websites and they were pretty good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

1. I choose Civil Engineering because my rank was not that high. However, later I developed interest in this domain. 2. Faculty to student ration is 40:1.3. These is well furnished classrooms with projectors installed. Each Classroom has a enogh space to accomodate 300 students. Our class strengh is 94 so it give us enough room to sit and All the professors are Highly Qualofied. Each one of them has a PHD Degree in their respective domain and they Teaches well.3. Each year is divided into 2 semester and each sem. has One Mid - Term Exam and One End - Term. So, A 4 year course has total 8 Sem.4. Exams are of moderate level like you can Pass the exam with good grades if you start your preparation before 2 weeks. Provided you have attended all the lectures.

Placement Experience

With the starting of your 7th semster companies start visiting the campus. They offer various domains to the students with different branches. 70-80 Companies visit the campus every year with amzon, flipkart, adobe, Goldman Sachs, standard chartered and ola.higest package offered till now is 1.6 crore but that was off campus and average is 9-10 lakh per annum

Fee Structure And Facilities

1. Fee Structure is well maintained and you have to deposit fees twice in a year. Like fees is . according to the semesters so there is 2 semester in a year. 2. NIT Hamirpur is an Institue of National Importance and they provide you financial assistance in fees according to the family income. For students having Family income < 1 lakh - The tution fees per semster is Rs. 9000 /-For students having Family income < 5 lakh - The tution fees per semster is Rs. 30000 /-For students having Family income > 5 lakh - The tution fees per semster is Rs. 73800 /-3. I am in my 7th Semster right now and I got a campus placement at Wipro with package of 6.5 Lakh/Annum. Being a core branch student, This is good for me and yes, the campus placements are pretty good. Around 70-80 Companies visit every year to the campus

Campus Life

5

The Campus Life is best. You can't get a campus Life better than NIT Hamipur. It's situated in Hamirpur District of Himachal Pradesh with Dhauldar range as their prime view. Hillf'fair is the annual Cultural Festival of Nit hamirpur and Numbus is the technical festival. It has one of the largest library and you will easily get the books which are required for the couse curriculum. Beside Library, It has 3 Storey Reading Room. The classrooms are spacious and has accomodation capacity of 200-300 students. Name the sport and you have it at NIT Hamirpur. Both Outdoor and indoor games, Gyms for female and male, Indoor squash, basketball, badmintion, bowling, billiards and many more. There are various clubs that are run by the students for the welfare of the students. Each Club is best and contribute their part in organizing the cultural and Technical Festival of college. Besides Departemental and Cultural Clubs there is a Society named Indian Society for Techniacl Education which provides students with the exposure of various technical fileds.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel are good. You will get a triple sharing room till your third year of graduation and singlet in your final year. you will get a table, bed, fan, lan port, balcony and a almirah in your room. The meal quality is average like you can easily survive by eating mess food.

Admission

No, we were shortlisted acoording to our JEE-MAIN Ranks. JEE Main is a computer-based online test conducted by National Testing Agency for students aspiring to pursue undergraduate courses in top engineering institutes in India. JEE Main is the first phase of the IIT Joint Entrance Exam. The entrance examination till 2020 was conducted in two sessions and candidates could take the exam either in the month of January or in April. The candidates could further opt to appear for one exam or both the exams. The better of two NTA scores was considered by the exam conducting authority in preparing the ranks/merit list. More significantly, students are granted admission to IITs, CFITs, NITs, and other Government funded technical institutes based on the marks obtained in JEE Main. Also, the top 2,50,000 students from JEE Main will qualify to appear for JEE Advanced.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nursing is all about skills, and the more practice you do, the better...i spent most of my time in hospital with patients for at least 9 months ever year....the duty used to be of 6 hours and the rest 2 hours we used to have a class till 4 pm Ut was a bit hectic but it really helped me in clearing all my concepts and improving my skills in handling a patient also the internship program is like cherry on top so good it covers everything you learn in 4 years and makes you ready for the outer world....I would say in terms of improvement, they need to reschedule their classes and clinicals timing because it gets draining and we don't get much time to study, so we usually just study because we used to be so exhausted.
