Remarks

I have attended bharathiyar university but I was not interested to join so I applied for gandhigram rural institute. Yes, they alloted me a quota for the BC community. In the process for admission fees is RS 600 and after selected they call for counseling and minimum marks to kept atleast above 75% and no age limited. They call for admission in the huge hall and they call by their mark bases.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I want to be in the field of medicine so i have choosed the course microbiology to become a microbiologist. The faculty are behave friendly and share their knowledge in all related subjects and they help in all situations and the student ratio is around 30. All faculty are completed p.hd and B.ed and their teaching method are really good and provide PPT presentation. The exams were conducted after the completion CFA 1& 2 and Its not difficult to pass, the exam was conducted for 100 marks in 3 hours.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Edufabrica companies were joined for internship and microbial technology course joined and no stipend was alloted. I have chosen the extraction of lauric acid in coconut oil and the faculty give me full support.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees hike policy is followed and the alloted time duration around 1 month for pay fees and the cost of study is somewhat high per year. They provide Bc scholarship with the family income below 200000 and provide stipend around 4000

Campus Life

3.5

They won't conduct any fest but they conduct only seminar sections. It has a huge library also has a department library. The class was too small we can sit only 25 members and too closed an environment. The conduct hockey, football, cricket, running race, etc based on our interests. By student, they have insta gram account run by students to upload the college infrastructure.

Hostel Facilities

3

The facilites of the hostel are huge and provide a big room. In each room, 3 members were allotted and also provide a cot and study table. They serve the only veg meal because of Gandhi follower and it average meal to eat. For not all students they provide hostel only the student who is long-distance above 150 km. There are many rented rooms are there but it is too long between college and rooms

Course Curriculum Overview:

It covers all core Chemistry subjects with good lab work. I chose this course for strong academics and research scope. The syllabus helps for higher studies and competitive exams like NET, SET. Practicals help in real applications. Exams are held each semester. Difficulty is moderate and most students clear easily,More workshops and industry training can be added for improvement.
