Simple review - LPU

After completing 12th I did apply to many colleges like Amity University, Manipal University, and some from my hometown like Agra college, Dayalbagh college and Dr. Bheemrao Ambedkar University. I gave entrance exams of all these colleges, and I got a good scholarship in LPU so I decided to pursue my further studies at LPU. I opted for BTech CSE, for this the minimum marks criteria was like above 60% in 12th. Coming up with the admission procedure, well from my own experience it went so smooth I was provided with every detail about Universities working and its discipline criteria. I do get my mentors to have my doubts clear in my starting days. In conclusion to this, I might say the admission process was very easy.

I chose CSE because I loved to do coding from my 11th and 12th grade and so did I pursue it my college. There was about a 14:1 faculty-student ratio. The faculty we were provided with were well qualified, interactive, and friendly that make the teaching experience very well. Some of them were Ph.D. holders too. The term exam's held timely every semester following the semester calendar. The midterm happens in the 2nd month after the semester starts and the end-term happens at the start of the 5th month. It's easy to pass an exam if you studied that well.

Many companies pay visits to the university to hire newcomers from the university. Some offer stipend-based internship same some offers prize-based internships. Students take a good part in it to make them confident for the future.

After completing 2nd year you can become a part of placement services if you want to get placed in the near future if you are not thinking of higher studies. Every year many companies visit to hire students for the job. Around 500+ companies give visits to Lpu to recruit job seekers. Some big companies do offer high packages like Microsoft offered a package of 42 LPA, and coming to the average package students get around 3-4 LPA. I do not have any plans to get placed I will pursue higher studies.

Fees remain the same for the students throughout the course. If there is a fee hike it applies to the new admissions. Opting for a scholarship in LPU is easy just give LPUNEST and score good marks the university will definitely give the best scholarship they provide. University does provide financial assistance like extension in semester fees and many more. Currently, I'm a student so I didn't get any job or internship.

In LPU we have an annual fest named ONE WORLD, many more fests get conducted every month. LPU provides a big library and a number of books in every field. Lpu supports every sports enthusiast it provides support in every sport by giving them chance in big tournaments. In LPU there are many social groups and clubs, where students can take participants to the social cause and much more.

In the hostel, everything is provided that is essential for a student. The overall atmosphere of the hostel is calm and peaceful. There are various kinds of facilities available in hostels such as Room service, Saloon, General stores, Canteen, etc. For any kind of inconvenience regarding the residential facility, one can log their request in RMS which will be resolved within a few days. The hostel mess provides a variety of menus for the students from every part of India to suit them, the food they provide is good. The registration process is also very simple as the university makes it easier for us. In terms of affordability it's a bit on the expensive side, to this you have other options to rent a room outside the campus.
