My college Experience

The college is good in all the expect it will make you so studies and knowledgeable that one can go and stand in any platform in any organization. the management is very helpful as they are helpful to me after being pass out as the need of any documentation they attend the call and even give the recommendation if required for the higher studies by the professors.

In 2011 i took AIEEE exam in which i scored 53000 AIR by counselling i getting many colleges but due to certain reviews from the seniors of school and looking at the scholarship offered by the Lovely professional university i had opted for it as it helped me to do my bachelors with making me less financially weak.

The course curriculum is very managed as it has been formed by the higher authority keeping in mind about both the intelligent students and weak students. As it has been divided into certain types as hourly lectures, monthly lectures, and according to the subjects requirements. every semester after one year one can opt for the extra course of his or her interest that would be beneficial to make her future interest as the course offered is updated and recognized to the global standard.

Yes, college provide the internship not much company visit but their are certain big company come and hire a student for the internship and offered them a job as well after completion of the internship as one of my friend got internship in the Aashi glasses LTD where as one of my friend got internship in the ROCKMAN industries which is the subsidiary company of hero group as they are offering 13000 pm at the time of the internship.

There are around 800 students which are eligible for the placement from them approximately 700 are placed while the other 100 had joined the higher studies in the college itself. From 700 students 200 has been placed in their core field while 500 has been placed in the non core field i m indicating core field as the mechanical field. the companies that come are 50 in numbers cant be able to mention all but some of most important and highly paid are Cognizant, Rockman, Practo technologies,TCIL,Ceasefire Industries etc all of them offer package between 3 lacs to 4 lacs as CTC.

Youth vibe is the grand annual youth fest where more than 10 communities compete to win audience heart by giving artistic musical, dramatical & Theatrical performances.Univeristy is organizing NLF - National Literature Fest in campus, the first literary fest where thousands of participants will compete to win the heart of crowd.We design, built and race the future cars which are powered by solar energy obtained from solar panels of the car.

The fees are diff rents for diffrent programs as if i talk about the mechanical engineering the maximum fees is about 80000 per semester and the minimum fees is 20000 rs per semester all this fees depends on the scholarship for zero percent scholarship one has to pay 80000 rs per semester and for 80 percent scholarship one has to pay 20000 rs per semester as there are less number of students which come under 80000 rs as mostly student got scholarship because of their academic as well some got scholarship because of their extra curriculum activities including sports as major part.

Campus is huge so their is lot to roam in the campus as the gender ratio is around 60 40 as 60 percent boy and 40 percent are girls.their are much extracurricular activities as COKE STUDIO LIVE MUSIC CONCERT, many national international level sports events like baseball, kabaddi, cricket, basketball events. SOLAR CAR RACING also event organized at college.

The hostel room are good as students have facility to opt for the room of their own choice and the room are available as four seater three seater and also in single seater but mostly students prefer the four seater room as they can live with their friends but due to certain restriction in the campus and as the hostel room are much costly as compared to the rented room opted outside the campus so mostly after two year one stand to go for the outside campus living and opt for the pg are easily available at the ost of 2000rs maximum near the campus if person prefer to go to jalandar or phagwara then it will cost little less as 1400rs per month but that will add travelling charge of 20 rs daily by bus.

College seniors are really helpful they guide you from very beginning from the fresher induction and help you till the end of your life as talking about my personal view my senior are attached to me till now as they are still supporting me for the organizational decision in my job.

Exam structure is systematic as all has been planned with the system before the year as which date the exam going to be held and the pattern of the exam all has been decided before the exam the lab exam are differently held then the descriptive academic exam while in every paper their is one holiday allotted mostly as the exam is of 100 marks with 2 marks 10 question and 10 marks 8 questions.

The faculty of the college is very systematic as they taught you what you need to know to be working as the professional in the organization as all the faculty mostly are from the IIT or NIT with having huge experience in the teaching field with having interest in their field they are allotted with the subjects by the management and they fulfill their duty very well as they teach in deep knowledge of the topic as per the each and every single student requirement.
