Honest review

so everyone who wants to take admission in lpu(in engineering) have to give LPUnest(enterence exam). the score will decide your branch. means higher the score higher will be the branch. but, to be honest in my case they have given me 40% scholarship according to my 10th and 12th score. and i just had to clear the lpunest, which is not at all tough by the way. also you may get more benifit if you have done something in the field of sports and other activities.

it was pre decided that i will chose cse. and in lpu most of the placement come for cse branch, as i have told by the faculties and some seniors. facilities are very good here. most of them have done phd. and currently i'm attending online classes so interaction with the teachers are very good. they answer every query. some of them are very friendly and some the quite strict. Currently exams are being conducted on code tantra platform. where camera and mice are kept on. level of questions is moderate. Its simple, if you have studied what teacher has taught, its esay for you.

many internships notifications come on every 2-3 days. some are paid and some are non paid. it is true that lpu has a big network. so mang big companies like amazon, google provide internships here. also here we get many projects(tech and non tech). recently we got a project in which we have to work with some government verified ngo. and make a report on it. and it was great.

talking about the placements, as i have talked to some seniors, most of the students gets placed in lpu. but don't go on the 100% placement advertise by lpu. Look, the job of college is to provide you the opportunities. which lpu does, now its on your potential that how you big you can grab it. many students grab great great packages here. but many students don't (big package). so its all up to you. lpu does its work properly.

so you can get the scholarship according to your 10th and 12th score, like if you have between 80-90% in each, you may get 40-45% scholarship. and after that you just have to clear lpunest, and get your desired branch. every 2-3 days we get notifications of some internship programs. in short lpu is brilliant at extracaricullar activities.

yes there are some fest that happens in lpu, since i have taken admission in lockdown so it haven't held due to covid guidelines. lpu has very very big library. so its great for some students. and they also have e library which is very easy to access. and for sports you just have to take the name to sport and it will be there for you. and there are lot and lot of student organisations and social clubs, and everyone should join any of them which is good for their interest. so i have not visited campus yet, but some of my friends recently visited.

hostel facility are quite good, but are very expensive. like 70000 for 4 seater room(mess not included) and about 26000 mess. so ultimately it becomes quite expensive. and many students opt for pg which are at law gate, at the walking distance for campus, and are very cheap by the way. both hostel and pg are good. but atleast for 1st year you should opt for hostel(if possible) and after that you may decide.
