LPU - The best option for anyone who wants to get quality education at a cheap price

The admission process was smooth but time-consuming as there were too many students waiting in the queue. All the staffs were good with ethical behavior. I opted for admission through LPU NEST. The application form was provided by my school for 500 Rupees. The cut-off was around 50% of LPU NEST.

The course curriculum is good and is being updated regularly. I choose this course because I was fascinated by computers from the very first time I saw them. The quality of the faculty is not so great. Some teachers are exceptionally qualified and good but some are just okayish. It depends on the luck as to what teacher we get. But there is a feedback process for all teachers and if a class or section is not satisfied with that teacher, they can choose to change the teacher. Exams are held timely. Mid-term is held after 1.5-2 months from semester beginning and after 1.5-2 months end term are conducted. There is also CA in between the mid-term and end-term. The difficulty of exams are mediocre and can be passed with just enough preparation.

Internship opportunities are provided by various companies with offers ranging from 10k - 1lpa. Various companies provide internship opportunities to the students like Microsoft, Amazon, GeeksForGeeks, etc. Students are required to have good academic results for getting internships.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. More than 500+ companies visit each year for placements and the offers range anywhere from 2-3lpa to 30-40 LPA. Companies that visit the campus include Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, BOSCH, Capgemini, Infosys, and many many more. The highest package offered last year was 28lpa (I may be wrong) and the average is around 3-4 LPA (for BTech only) Around 90-95% of students from each batch get placed,(Btech only) I plan on getting placed through the on-campus placement after getting the degree.

The fee structure is very good compared to other private colleges. The fee is 90000 per semester (excluding hostel and mess fees). There are many different types of scholarships given to students based on their qualifications such as sports, academics, extra-curriculum activities, etc. Scholarships are also given if they score well in LPU NEST exams.

Campus life is as good as it gets. There are many events and fests happening all over the campus at any given point in time. The library is one of the best. We can literally find any book and if there are none, then we can request for it too. Monthly and weekly magazines are also available. Classrooms are equipped with top-notch facilities like smart boards, projectors, and CCTV cameras. There are tons of groups and clubs based for every branch. Many events are conducted by each club/group, one at a time, so that the events do not overlap and students don't miss anything. Since there are many international students, once every year there is a One World Fest in which students represent their respective countries by showcasing their ethnic clothes, languages, food, and many more. Overall, there are tons of things happening each month on campus. There are also many sports and extracurricular activities for students if they are interested.

There are a total of 8 hostels for boys and 4 hostels for girls. The seating capacity is different and the fee is accordingly. There is 24x7 electricity in the hostels with a continuous water supply in each room and a drinking water facility on each floor. Wifi is available in each room and there is no loss in the network. Proper hygiene is maintained as rooms are cleaned almost daily. Meal quality is also very good with proper hygiene from the staff. The only drawback is there is no non-veg option in the hostel mess. Food is provided 3 times a day with many different menus on different days. The registration process is easy as we can book a hostel from the UMS(University Management System) in a few clicks. Hostel fees range from 38k per annum (Dormitory) to 1.2lacs per annum(Single Room Apartment).
