Remarks

We can take the admission process by using the entrance exam/Jee Main /Inter marks. Every year the cutoff range will different. They will compare all the three eligibility criteria and they provide the highest cut-off rate and then they will provide the scholarship. The scholorship once decided will not change for all the 4 years of education. This is the best one I found out of other universities. And the admission process is very friendly. The eligibility for the entrace is passed or appeared in 10+2 under any recognized board. We can find the application form in any local admission office or in the lpu.in the website, I think the admission process they are following right now is the best one where I have seen till now .

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is more friendly and it is diverse than other universities and it makes us not feel the burden. I had choosen ECE course as I had a passion for this sector. I like the communication sector to get into it I had opted for Electronics and communication engineering. We will have a different faculty for every subject and they are friendly with the students and they will always welcome us to get solve our problems or doubts in the subjects. The ratio of the faculty and students is 1:60. The qualification of the faculty is some has done masters in the subject and some are even pursuing Ph.D. in those subjects. And the college will provide an interface where every student can review the faculty performance and it will be taken into consideration. We will have One midterm and End term And minimum of 3 Class tests for the minimum subject. Out 3 class tests 2 will be considered and 5 marks for attendance are considered. The difficulty level of the paper is medium to high.

Internships Opportunities

5

I haven't done any internships till now. As there are many companies visiting the university I know few of them. Skill vertex, Ananth Agri services,Infenion, Accenture, Aws, Many more. Projects that I had seen are building a giant humanoid robot.

Placement Experience

5

From the 6th semester, we are allowed to sit in placements. The companies visited in the university are Mrf, Capgemini, Cognizant, Skill vertex, Microsoft, Accenture, Cognizance, And many more. 95 percent of the students got the placements. The highest package is 32 LPA. My plan after my degree is to get a job in mnc

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee Structure is fixed for the four years it will not change under any circumstances. The scholorship will be based on either LPUNEST or Jee main or 10+2 marks. It hardly takes 2-2.5 lakhs for a person to study for a year. As per my comparison, it is the least one where I had seen. Till now I haven't attended any placement drives. In the next sem, I am going to appear for the placement services

Campus Life

5

The annual fest that is conducted in the university is Youth vibe and it is conducted in October. There are a lot of books and journals are available in the library. It has situated on 5 floors and it is a vast library. We have the indoor stadium it consists of large swimming pool and deepest swimming pool and tennis court gym and chess and more in that indoor stadium and we have a vast playground for girls and boys separately known as bh4 boys ground and gh2 girls ground. There are more than 160+ organizations or clubs in the university where they perform different fest and webinars. Every day almost 10 events will take place in the university. Out of them, Robotics and Intelligent Systems community are commonly known as RISC-LPU where I am a member it works on the special domain of robotics.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facility is good and there are many stalls where we can buy our favorite food instead of the normal mess. The facilities provided are the separate bathroom, almirah, bed, table, and chair. Registration can be done through the university interface. Food quality is very good we can opt for north Indian or south Indian.

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
