Remarks

The admission process was very tough, you must have at least 74%in class 12 and you must choose PCM as your main subject. I find the application form on the internet and the applied fee is around 1k. Well, I don't have any ideas of reservations yet. No, its fine just the way it is.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because I love computers and coding and its fits best for me so I decided to choose it. Well, teachers are very good but some of them are not good as compared to others but still, they are average and I don't know anything about students ratio since it's a live class from home. Well, exams are held every month and questions are so tough as compared to what they teach us.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Companies like Airtel, TCL, google, Microsoft are some companies. Roles like making app, websites, ai are some offered roles. Well, I was expected in my first internship with an avg 5lkah packs and I won't regret it. First, they teach you how to make projects then you get started with your projects.

Placement Experience

4.5

well, 2-3 semester students are eligible for campus selection with minimum placements 15-25k based on their knowledge and skills. There are so many companies visit there like airtel, TCL, google, Microsoft, etc. The highest package is around 3-5lakh and the minimum is 1-2 lakh, but it may go down. 50-60% gets placements from there rest from outside campus selection. I want to work at Google.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well, first of all, you have to pay a minimum of 20k for your admission and then after you have the option to choose whether you want to pay all fees at the same time or not, approx 1.5 lakhs is a cost. There are 2 scholarship exams held online in lpu and if u pass and get 70% above you to get a 35% scholarship.

Campus Life

5

There are 3 libraries in that college and they all are huge but it's hard to find new books and they manually have old books there. The classroom is 8/10. So many sports activities happen on that campus and it was so fun. There is no such group that exist and but can make them.

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
