Remarks

So I took a drop year after my 12th and gave jee main exam, scored 95.96 percentile and tried for jee advance but didn't score enough but I did get a rank of 45416 which was pretty good to take admission in DTU with computer science as I was OBC. But I was predecided to take IT for better placements and the admission process was totally smooth I paid a fee of 106000 during the first phase and 84000 after the second phase of admission. The batchmates are awesome and we visit the college from time to time the cleanliness is the pretty good infrastructure is damn good far better most of the colleges in Delhi. The professors in college are not strict except some obviously and marking process is very good you can easily get 9+cgpa with just paying attention in classes. The placements are damn good in this college and it provides lots of scholarships if you are eligible you can study for your bachelors for free. DTU also provides internships after completion of 2nd year and if you crack coding round and HR round you can get it.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The reason I chose the course is because i was always pumped aith coding and hacking movies and when people talk about algorithm design and AI development it attracted me a lot so I decided to pursue for my career and as placements were in IT so took the course. We got 240 stydents in IT each of 80 in 3 section. The faculty there i damn qualified most of them are PHD holders and written books and given their theories. So no one can complain about it. As there were supposed to be only 2 semesters a year but due to online the time of holidays has been cut down and there are 3 semesters in a year.

Internships Opportunities

5

For the internships program, you can apply after completion of 2nd year in almost every company but companies like google amazon, Oyo, sprinkler etc are there every year for providing scholarships. The projects are made after completion of the 3rd year and you will be needed to show the working and complete code of your project to the hiring company.

Placement Experience

4.5

As I am currently in the 3rd semester but still not eligible for internships so I guess you gotta do more than three but my seniors have told me that there should be at least 4 semesters i.e the completion of 2nd year you can apply for internships and almost 80% students get placed on campus and the rest got placed off campus. No plans after this degree just a startup or a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

There has been increased in fee structure as it was 166000 for first year but when i took admission in 2020 it was 190000 for first year. But it is good according to placement internship and infrastructure provided. So there are lot of scholarships given like delhi govt merit cum means financial assistance scholarship which really made it cheaper to study in this college.

Campus Life

3

There are freshers parties every year for the freshies getting admission but due to the online process, we don't get one now and there is each and every book related to the curriculum available in the library. Extracurricular activities of all sports and all kinds of activities are there to perform.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

I would not suggest On Campus placement for this college as the placement cell is not very good here. However one can score a great package if they develop skills in the field of chemical engineering.
