It was so smooth for me, no entrance exam just applied online through jee mains. I got a decent rank of AIR 1041 in jee mains so eligibility was, not a problem for me I could have been admitted in any other IIT or IIIt but in my 12th I couldn't do well and couldn't achieve 75%.
Course Curriculum Overview
My interest was in the computer so I took COE in DTU it wasn't a problem due to my AIR 1041, opting for COE was the best choice ever in my life. We have a decent faculty student ratio there is world class professor, their teaching methods are so amazing you could never skip a thing from your mind if you once understand it.
Internships Opportunities
Mostly there was a coding round and then 3-4 stages of the interview but there were some companies like Microsoft that gave a task of creating a clone of the TEAMS website under a mentor. then there was an oxitoxin company that also gave the task of creating an affinity map.
Placement Experience
DTU is one of the top engineering colleges in India it ranked at 54th position under overall category 36th under by NIRF 2021 report the institute successfully completed its 2021 placement drive. According to the report highest CTC of INR is 1.09 LPA and the average CTC stood at INR 13.24 LPA. Reputed recruiters like google, Microsoft myntra, Flipkart, Goldman, Amazon, Deloitte, etc participated.
Fees and Financial Aid
In DTU for every year fee increases by 20 %, for the 1st year fee is 1.9 lakh and 2nd year it is 2.1 lakh add 20% for the rest of the year. There are some scholarships for which you can look at the DTU website. Also, there is some amount of money is offered to every department topper for each year.
Campus Life
There is literature and film festival YUVAAN in Jan, then there is wold famous fest ENGI FEST happens around march then there is INNOVA and so on it never ends. Talking about books DTU have a huge library it is also available online which has all the book u ever gonna need.
Hostel Facilities
You will have no. of warden and assistant they are very helpfull there is also a health center beside hostel in case of any problem. The meal is too good menu i dont remember but u are going to , you are gonna miss this food at ur home registration process is mentioned on DTU website it is quite affordable.
