Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I wasn't getting coe or it. Also, this branch has scopes in core and companies allow us to sit for sde roles so I preferred it. No problem with the number of faculties. All facilities are well qualified, don't think they are dumb just by their behaviour in the class. Exams are always on time. The annual calendar is issued before the commencement of a semester and it is followed.
Internships Opportunities
In 2021 Microsoft, google offered 1lac/month intern. BNY Mellon, adobe, goldman Sachs etc offered 75k/month intern. And many other companies like amazon, flipkart, myntra, amex etc offered interns at 50k to 1lac per month intern. And many other companies offered less than 50k /month intern. So in conclusion, if you are a decent student and have at least slightly prepared for intern you can get it easily. Like in electrical core also Qualcomm and TI came and offered intern to more than 30 students.
Placement Experience
After the 6th sem, you are eligible for placements on the campus. Big tech companies like Google, Microsoft, Paytm, Qualcomm, TI, Amazon etc come to campus and provide offers for placements as well as interns. So you just do well you are assured to get many big opportunities. In coe, it, so you have almost 100 Percent placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is almost the same as any government college in the country. The details of the fee structure u can find on the official dtu site. There are plenty of scholarship options. Even top performers of the class get Scholarships from college. Also, various financial assistance options are there offered by the college and Delhi govt. too. For notice, you must have a Habit of checking the website regularly like once in 3-4 days.
Campus Life
Engifest is the largest fest in the college. It takes place during February every year(before covid days of course). There is a good big library with books and online as well as offline journals can also be accessed. There are many societies and tech teams, u have a lot to explore.
