Campus life , Internships and Placements at DTU

First JEE Main. Application form fees vary, one can check it on nta official website. After the result declaration, visit JAC Delhi. nic.in regularly and fill the counseling application form. After that, there are 5 to 6 counseling rounds and then a spot round which gives students with average ranks a good chance for admission in branches like EE, Biotechnology, Civil, PIE, etc.

Faculty and assistance professors are highly educated and teach very sincerely. Projects and assignments need to be submitted regularly. Crossing deadlines cause marks deduction. The curriculum of MCE is good. Differential Eqn. , statistics, discrete, etc are being taught in the 2nd year and cs related topics in the 3rd and 4th year. Classes are held in online mode via Google Meet.

There are many start-ups by DTU pass-outs, and a lot of these start-ups provide internship opportunities in the field of flutter development, frontend development, backend development, designing, social media handling, etc. And a good stipend is also made to students. IN these startups students get the opportunities to work on live projects and learn from seniors and industry experts.

Campus placement is really good. Most of the students in 4 th year get placed either on campus or off campus. Top companies provide job opportunities at DTU for all branches. All mech., civil and electrical students get placed with handsome salaries. Some companies even allow other branches for cs related job opportunities. Companies like Atlasian , Google, Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra take students from DTU.

Fees for the first year were 190000 and in the 2nd year, it is 206000. And it gets increased every year, which is kind of hard for many students. There is financial assistance provided to students by the university. All you have to do is provide is that your family income is low. There is also some schemes from the state as well as from the government for such students. And students can also take loans for all four years to pay their course fees. DTU is a state government college still its fee is quite high and is unbearable for a lot of students, which forces them into loan debts.

Social life at DTU is awesome. Seniors are very friendly. The faculty and staff are very helpful and friendly. Seniors time to time conduct workshops and webinars to guide or on recent topics. Fest and events always happen at DTU. Engifest in one the greatest fest among technological universities. And there are 4 canteens on our campus and playgrounds for different sports. Indoor court for table tennis and badminton is also available. But sadly there is no swimming pool.
