Remarks

The admission process starts after the declaration of JEE Mains around mid-June. All the necessary details are available on the JAC Delhi website. The choice filling for branches starts around july, then there are several rounds of counselling ending in august, where we are given the final allotment based on our choices. The cutoff for taking admission in IT branch is around 10,000 in general category.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course subjects in IT are very good and are designed according to the industrial requirements only. Many important subjects like OS, OOPS, DBMS are also included in the course curriculum. The faculty of IT Is very good and well - experienced. Most of the subjects are taught by the HODs.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 190000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internships opportunities are a little bit low as compared to placement opportunities. All the deserving students get good internships in big companies like Google, sprinlkr. The college itself help students in internships with many workshops and resume management workshops. The placement coordinators help too in the smooth conduct of placements.

Placement Experience

The placements of the college are too good. The highest package offered is around 85 LPA and with an average package of 18 LPA. All the major companies come to college like sprinkler, tower research. There is 100% placement in the tech branches. And the ratio of placements of nontech branches is good too.

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fee is 1,00,000 per semester. It is increased anually as per the guidelines of Delhi Government. There are many scholarships launched by the university to help financially weaker students. There are many internships options availabe on campus and we can apply off campus too with the help of referrals.

Campus Life

Life at DTU is the best. The campus is too big and has everything like a canteen, library, sports complex, etc. There are all the necessary facilties available for the students in the hostel. All the sports equipment is available in the sports complex like table tennis, pool, etc. There are several socities run by the seniors which provide great exposure to the students.

Likes

College societies are very active, there are events, hackathons, workshops and jamming sessions every week
Faculty is very supportive and guides on career, internships and courses
College location and connectivity is good, it takes 5-8mins by auto/erickshaw to reach the nearest metro station, also buses run

Dislikes

College Infrastructure is quite old, they are rebuilding the washrooms so its better than before
Placement and internship are decent, need more support and guidance
College crowd is mostly uninterested in career and participating in hackathons or career building events

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. Top Recruiters are Infosys, ZS Associated, Swiggy, JustPAY and there were about 250 offers in 2025 Highest package was 63LPA off-campus, 27LPA on campus and Average package is about 6-7LPA, most profiles are software developer About 60-80% of the eligible students got placed last year I would like to work as a software engineer for 2-3 year and then do MBA alongside job and then apply for management roles.

first of all i would say the infrastucture of the our collge is too good and even the best when we comapre it to other colleges in our university
second is its labs and advance tech lab for a btech student in vlsi domain we have a vlsi lab which have all the equiped tolls tahtare required for a good placemnt and same for other branches as well also in our campus there is super computer
third is the secuity the security of the campus is very good we got riif id card all gates are only when when the correct id card are shown out there and also thereare ample amoun tof

Dislikes

dislike is to be honest one thing i dislike is most is the ptm that after each mid sem there is ptm of the due to low attedence and even student got detained due to it
second is the campus area is too much smaller comapring other colleges
third is the canteen the food in the canteen is not soo good and there is no much option avaiable out there

Placement Experience:

For placement, I would say it is average in terms of top-tier colleges. Average placement is 6 LPA; the highest last year was 29 LPA in BTech AI/ML. Placement is offered in the 4th year of the courses, and there are on-campus placements available, but under significant criteria based on the recruiting company like cgpa should be more then 7.5 no active backlog and all so these are the cretiera that a company demands and depands of dfiffrent companies i dont have any subsqueent infomation regaridng the name of companies visited and no of offer made but i have the information regarding thear placement percenateg it was aroung 82 percent last year my plans are to prepare for govt exam and get in there after getting degree

My experience studying at NSIT

Likes

Placement was among the best and most the top companies visited
Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

As no batch has been passed out from our college, the first batch of BTech placements will be out by 2025 So then we will know about the placement scenarios and on campus and internships, but for a B plan, one should always Acquire for the trending skills in the society, my plans after getting the degree is either I go for the post graduate or I apply to off campus in abroad.
