As it as a State University, the admission process is conducted on the JAC daily website only. The application form, application dates and all the other important things are posted on the website. The candidates should check the website regularly. The cut-off for general category for this course is around 25,000.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of electrical engineering is difficult as compare to other branches like computer engineering. The core subjects are difficult to understand. The overall grade in electrical or low as compare to other branches. The teachers are very well experienced and have been teaching for many years. They try their best to make our concepts clear. The exams are Lengthy and tough.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are even lower than the placement opportunities. Most of the companies are not open for electrical branch for internships but there are some in which we can apply like Uber QUALCOMM. We can do various projects in my club and our faculties help us throughout. We can also performed experiments actually in the lab as well.
Placement Experience
The placements in the core branches are comparatively low. There are only a few companies that are open for electrical branch. But there are many companies that come only for the electrical branch like QUALCOMM. If one works hard in electrical, he or she can get good placements. One has to maintain a high GPA to sit for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for all eight semesters is around eight lakhs. We have to pay the fees annually. The students who do not have enough funds, can pay the fee in installments or can request the college for a fee waiver on their economical background. The college itself offers many scholarship schemes. The college provides help for internships and placements in the third year.
Campus Life
The campus life's too good. But in electrical engineering, the subjects are very difficult, so we hardly have any time to enjoy campus life. The books can be issued from the library or we can purchase them from any bookstore. The library also has novels, Science fiction apart from the course books. The college also has many good sports trainees. There are many useful societies is run by the seniors in which we can enroll for our overall growth.
