Taking admission in LPU(B.tech cse) worth it or not

You can apply for Btech only if you have scored more than or equal to 60 percent on the 12th board. You can register on admission to complete the application for any degree you wanted to pursue and further action will be also taken from the same website. Application fees will be rs 500.

I had also applied for the other colleges through exams like comed-k and wb-jee but was not able to clear the rank to apply for cse so I choose to apply for lpu for pursuing Btech cse as I already know about the college placements from my seniors in neighbours, they give a positive review about it. Apart from this, I got a scholarship after taking LPUNEST which waived by tuition fee to half of the actual fee. In one class there is 60-70 student but sometimes this ratio is maintained to 40-50. Most of the faculty will be young but they really try hard to give quality lectures instead of just completing the topic. There are two major exams in one semester - mid-term and end term. Midterm occurs every two months and end-term will be taken after every 4-5 months. And both exams are strictly abode to schedule. Some courses are hard to pass but one can easily get notes to pass the exam.

Right after the 4th semester, many companies such as oddesha, lead squard, whatfix will start visiting campus for internship opportunities however I was not able to clear any of them as I was not that prepared so I can't provide you with an honest review.

For Btech students, eligibility for placement is just after the 4th semester and most likely the average student will have at least one decent job offer in his hand by the end of the 6th semester. Currently, for the 2022 batch, more than 700 students are already in an internship with different startups, MNCs providing packages about 6 lac right after the 6th semester. For BTech(CSE) placements are far better than any other northern university. One can easily get more than 100 opportunities to avail of job offers.

I am not actually aware of the current tuition fee but yes the hostel fees are increased by 20000 from earlier. I got 4 offers from campus placement and the highest offer was 7 lac. Although I had got the lowest CTC as compared to my friends I can assure you that more than 100 students had got ctc more than 8 lac whom I know by myself. For batch 2022 placements was great everyone was having more than 1 offer and did not rely fully on mnc. I was eligible for more than 150 companies till I joined any company and was restricted to participate in further placement opportunities due to the policy of one student one offer. However, the university will allow you to participate in the campus recruitment if any company provides you twice CTC as your current CTC.

Lpu has great diversity whether in the field of academic or non-academic. There is a department of the division of student welfare that takes care of the overall development of any student. There is a lot of organization with high standards for any particular field whether it will be dancing, singing, events, technical, branch specific, hackathons and a lot more. LPU's central library has a great collection. Talking about the annual fest, I can bet no other north university organise it better than lpu. And there is numerous tech fest which is being organised by technical student organisations of specific departments. Division of student association host more than 100 active student organisations providing them with their own planning area and providing a lot of opportunities to grow and build a huge team.
