Is LPU a good option for BTech CSE.

To take admission you can get either through your 12th percentage and can also avail scholarship or either student can give lpunest test (details regarding this test is available on lpu official website) and if you score well in that you can also avail scholarship through lpunest score.

As CSE offered in lpu was good so I decided to opt for this course in LPU. There was a good ratio of student to faculty ratio. Talking about qualifications of faculty good number of faculties were having PG degree. In LPU term exams were timely for spring term Mid terms were around September to October and End terms were in December whereas for Autumn term Mid Terms are in February and End terms were in May.

Till now I have not registered for placement so I don't know much regarding this. But yes what I have known is there are a lot of companies that come for internships. There was one guy who got an internship in Goldman Sachs for 80k and also their many students who also get a very less stipend but in the end, it depends on the skills u you have. So if you are skilled Or learn various skills it will be easy for you too can get a good offer.

From 3rd year you will be asked to register for placement and from then you all are eligible for placement preparations. And there are a lot of companies which come to LPU as you all have read about the number of companies while the advertisement and that is totally correct. But the average salary you will be offered is around 4 to 4.5 LPA. I am not sure about the percentage of students total placed but whoever I know got placed in the companies. My plan is to, first of all, get placed in the company after taking a degree Or in future I can take admission for higher education.

For me I was charged 90k fees per semester but not to worry you all can get various scholarships. Like students can get scholarship on the basis of their 12th percentage and you can also get scholarships through the marks u scored in LPUNEST Or Jee Mains exam.

Talking about the fests in LPU you will never regret considering this part of the college. Here in LPU, you will get many offers to participate or attend many fests. Every day there is something going on in the University. In classrooms there are proper facilities of furniture, there will be AC, a whiteboard, and a projector. There isn't some BYOD(Bring your own devices) rooms where u also get charging points on each desk. There are a lot of opportunities for sports and extracurricular activities. There are many clubs where you can register and either you all can do extra works of your choices or also there are many tech clubs where you can improve your coding skills.

Hostels in LPU are of various types if u opt for normal rooms as I have taken 4 seater AC room and it cost me 66k for a year. In the room, you will get a bed, a table and a chair for each student and an Almirah. And a separate room for toilet and bathroom. You will also get a geyser in the bathroom in all rooms whether it is AC or NON AC rooms. If you want to stay outside the university there are a lot of nearby available PG's available near law gate, Phagwara. For outside rooms, students will not face any problem and actually, I prefer to stay outside it will cost you around 6k-7k for 2 seater rooms per month.
