Life of MA student at Tezpur University

The admission process was based on the marks of Bachelor of Arts, for getting admission into TU in MA of linguistics one have to have more than 60% in Bachelor of Arts exam. The admission forms are found in Online website of Tezpur University official website also someone can also approach the office offline to get the form. I am from OBC category and it helps to get seat at lower marks. I would like to see transparent admission fees in a large hall.

The course and curriculum is perfectly planned and it's coordination with the requirement of the students from the course. The whole course is divided into 4 semesters, teaching us a lot about the linguistics of the entire world and their importance which will help in getting an International placement for students. The Student: faculty ratio is 40:3 that ensured the proper attention to every student of the class. The difficulty level of the exams is quite normal for me as i attended all classes and studied regularly so to pass it was easy for me

The fees are not so high only 10000 for admission and as it is a government-run University we don't have to pay monthly, we only have to pay during exams, and also they provide scholarships for students ailing from lower socioeconomic status. UGC scholarship is provided by the state government 25,000rs per annum

Campus Life at Tezpur University is good. Numerous cultural and extra-curricular events are organized on campus by the student union. I am a cricket player since high school and I was a part of the university's team as well. I used to spend a lot of time in the Central library for my studies. I loved those 2 years of stay at the campus.I was in Echo Clubs also which discussion environment related issue and takes care of our mother nature of the campus

The classroom is very nice, for summer there is air condition. The food in the hostel mess is hygienic and tasty. As the mess fees are Only 2000 it's very affordable. To get a hostel one to have to fill up a form and submit it in the office.
