Remarks

The University has a NAAC Rating "A" with an all India rank 37 and world rank of 2278. All India rank was a major factor, cost of tuition was affordable plus the sheer number of International and National Conference organised by them was also considered by me. The Campus also has a botanical garden a bonus point.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus was quit updated a year or so so before I joined so it was more or less at par with Premier World Universities, Clinical exposure and internships were part of the curriculum enjoyed that part. HOD Mrs Baby was great rest were fine.

Campus life for me is a wonderful memory to cherish all my life long, Having snacks and tea bunking if luck permits and if lucky Hartals that would let you have the day off. Overall Vibe of the campus is so happening plus the greenery all around makes your time all the more worth.

Campus Life

Wifi enabled Campus, Huge library with computers for use, and a commendable stadium toward the right side of the university. Architecture style is contemporary Kerala style the EMS Auditorium kind of remands me of Ooty.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel allotment is a bit messy over hear as predominantly rooms are less other wise no problem it is good, Students from all department can be found hear, separate hostel for boys and girls with a monthly rent of 50 rupees

Balanced campus life and quality of education

Likes

The teachers were suppourtive and explained the subject clearly
The college campus was clean ,peacful and had a good learning atmosphere
The library and other facilities were useful for students and exam preparation

Dislikes

No placement were there so students had to took jobs on their own
Some classrooms and laboratory facilities needed improvement
More extracurricular activities should be arranged

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well structured and covered the fundamental concepts in all details .It included both theoretical and practical learning ,which helped in understanding the subject better .Internal assessment, assignments and semester examinations were conducted regularly.The exams were of moderate difficulty and manageable with regular study.

Likes

The college provides opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities
The college has a vibrant night life, almost all evenings has programes
Also helps students to participate in many of events

Dislikes

Parking is not allowed inside the campus for students
College bus facility is not available for night programes like college fest. The bus will leave the campus at 4.15 pm in all days
College hostel seats are very limited. only a fewer number of students will get the college hostel facility.

Placement Experience:

Placement are provided for final year students. Many companies visited the campus like TCS, Microsoft, L & T etc. The average packege offered is about 100000 to 15000 per year. However the percentage of students placed is relatively low, about 50 %

An overview of RIT

Likes

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

college provides nice venue good study environment
provide library facilities and lab facilities

It is so far from the main road a lot to walk

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

Placement Experience:

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

Dislikes

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students

These companies provide placement for all the branches of the college. 90 percent of the students get placements. I prefer to go for higher studies after getting the degree.

Remarks:

Infrastructure is very bad and undeveloped. Teaching quality is very poor. Fee structure is very expensive. Hostel facility is good. Food faculty is good. College provides scholarships every year to the eligible students.
