Remarks

It's nirf rank, reviews, nit tag, good spot, healthy environment, vivid range of courses , faculties, students. Good campus reach. I used Shiksha.com while selecting, comparing colleges. Admission is through JOSSA, everything was online, even fee payment. JOSSA made things very clear & easy. Preparing list of colleges in proper sequence is really important.

EEE is branch where u have scope for government as well as private jobs. Student faculty ratio is good at VNIT. Faculties are highly qualified. Many if them from VNIT Nagpur itself. We even have faculties from Institutes like IITs ,NITs & IIITs. Teaching is really good. Professor take care of each & every students properly. Exans are help thrice a sem. 2 sessionals & 1 endsem. Exams are if good level. U need to study hard to crack them.

Campus Life

4.5

We have annual fest AAROHI & tech fest AXIS. Even we have department gatherings & inter department gatherings. Consortium is one of biggest fest in middle India. We gave lots of club like Ecell, Samvad, Hallabol, Shell, IVlabs, Octaves, Mag.com etc to explore things. We have big sports Complex, gym in college. Regular activities are conducted for it. Library has good collection of all kinds of books & magazines.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Rooms are quite good. In 1st year 2 girls per room & in 2nd year 1 girl per room. Food it also quite good. Hostel has separate auditorium & gym. But they are quite expensive. Registration is simple.

No, I didn't faced any group discussion or interview. U just have crack jee mains with flying colors. Only criteria to get into VNIT is to crack jee mains.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

i chose this college as its nirf ranking is below 40 which is higher than many iits in india. other reason to opt this college is that it is a bit nearer to my place compared to other nits in all over india. there was a doubt to chose between branch and college. i shose both by opting eee in nagur nit. admission process is simple. once college is alloted from josaa councelling and csab lucky councelling, joining date and approval of admission will be released which helps you jpoin and treach college on time. after reaching here, student mentors from 3rd year help freshers in every step of admission and complete in 2 hours atmost. after everything has done, a hostel room and roommate is alloted as per allotment scheme and you can happily explore college and join our hostel which feels like a swcond home....Read More
