Remarks

Because of financial problem I've choosen it if not I could have joined in a better institution. It is One of the cheap University but to be true the quality of education and administration is also very low. It provides no industrial exposure/trips to the students. Irregular technical education programs. Faculty with low standards.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is not enough good because nothing can be found to be taught in the dated time. The education methods are outdated and not advanced. As the outside world is too competitive and creative the students of the Rajiv Gandhi University cannot survive once they get out because of low standards of education.

Internships Opportunities

I explored myself for online internships and done it with a start-up "My captain - climber" which is incumbated with Nsrcel IIM Bangalore because campus doesn't bother about our education and future.

Placement Experience

2

For the civil engineering branch there are very few placement offers knocking the placement cell. For cse and ece, it's better than civil engineering. Although, the packages in all streams is very low.

College Events

2

It ruined my 3years. No use of studying in such an outdated University unless you wanna waste your career. There are no clubs of engineering studies and for co-curricular there are music and dance clubs. There's also literature club which is not even know of it's existence to the students of the university.

Fees and Financial Aid

Full scholarship is offered. As the seat is given on the meritorious scores at the time we have applied.

Campus Life

Good. But the students data is never secured as everywhere the data is to be entered manually rather than computerized. Central library contains only subject/engineering books mainly and a very few others books for puc people. Digital library will be open only during academic hours so it's of no use as students get no time during classes and the university is finding such cunning strategies to save the budget.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good. They tell us they're providing wifi but we actually never seen the wifi signal popped up in the notification of our systems. Not really worse either. But there are some issues with the water facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pharmacy was the best option for Bipc students apart from MBBS. My main aim was MBBS,but unfortunaley i couldn't get it. Retail pharma, industrial, clinical had a huge scope which made me to opt for Bachelor of Pharmacy. Curriculum needs more practical knowledge to prove within the real time market. Improvement was much needed with research based programs as it was the major core area for pharma aspirants. Frequency betwween internal and external exams were too short.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Students become eligible from semester 6 to get placed I guess I'm not sure . Hp, Hul, Deloitte etc are the companies that come in. Highest package is around 58 lakhs after doing mba and the average package is around 10.5 to 11 lakhs. 95% of the students get placed. My plan after getting the degree is work for a couple of years maybe.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course as I dreamt of becoming a doctor since I was a child. In our college, the faculty is good and are qualified enough. They teach the basic things and make us learn things in a clear way. There will be two internal exams, one prefinal exam in every year. Those with an average of 50% in internal exams are allowed to write the final exams. There is quite a difficulty in passing the final exam as there is a vast syllabus.
