KL University,B.Sc- HM

Whichever field one studies,the institute he/she chooses for it is very important and that's why I opted for the famous KL University for my Bachelor's degree. The university was placed 70th for NIRF's 2020 overall rankings and has been accredited by NAAC Grade A++. Approvals by UGC, AICTE & COA are also achieved by KLU. Admission to the B.Sc- HM course in our university was based upon the Entrance & Interview.

My interest was quite deep in the Hotel Management field and that's why I chose it for my B.Sc. Those with a Bachelor's degree in this discipline can either go for Higher Education or start working through campus placements or their own efforts. The curriculum of the course is designed in the same way as other 3-year degree courses and the difficulty of exams was mediocre.

I've experienced how it feels when we get to explore the real time working process alongside the skills needed to make a long run in the field. The opportunities at KL University were good but I think along with the offer's quality the student calibre also played a prominent role in this round.

Our university recorded an average salary of INR 4.7 LPA for our batch of 2020 and it was certainly a really good one.Consulting, BFSI, E-commerce and IT were included among demanding domains for the batch & the top recruiters were Hyundai, KPMG, Flipkart, ICICI, Vodafone and HP. The top most salary bagged was INR 21 lacs and I think all departments got good outcomes from the placement drive.

Totally three annual shifts of INR 1.35 Lacs were charged from us during the venture of B.Sc-HM at KL University which was just decent. Students who really want to do their B.Sc here can even get Scholarships or Loan benefits if they are not financially strong enough to afford the fee structure here. The total fee was INR 4.05 Lacs for my UG degree in Hotel Management.

KLU was established in 1980 and it has been spreaded over 100 acres. We got some really good technical and academic opportunities which can help us enhance our skills. The auditorium and library hall of KLU is also very popular for the kind of infrastructure and facilities it provided. For students, various Art's & Cultural events were organised by the university after regular intervals of time. The hostel facilities at KLU were also pretty good.

Students are given the choice to have a Double or triple sharing rooms and all the available rooms have attached bathrooms with them. The option to avail AC facility is also there for which some extra charges are to be paid. The room's are allocated on a first come first serve basis and that's why it becomes quite important that one decides as soon as possible which rooms he/she wants to avail. The annual hostel fee was around INR 1 Lakh.

Candidates aspiring to do their B.Sc- HM from this university must have completed their XII with at least 55% marks and a valid score in the University entrance is also necessary. The students also have to appear for the Personal Interview round before final selections for the programme.
