Remarks

Good academics. The college was securing rank 1 in pune university (Academics). The Mechanical staff was experienced and qualified. The college is strict for the first two years and good efforts were taken for score/academic improvement. The campus is quite big which accommodates School/Pharma/engineering/MSC/MBA course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is adhering to Pune university which makes it quite tough. Industrial exposure i.e visits are mandatory. Prof PA Patil is the HOD of Mechanical with Mrs Phadkule being VP are pillars- PHD holders of the Mech department.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Institue provide internship but without pay role. I opted for internship at 1,Aurangabad Auto anc. Pvt Ltd 2. SN metallurgical LAB, aurangabad. The dusration was 2 months and Job role was general engineering intern.

Placement Experience

Considering the current scenario the College tries the best to bring good companies but the student mostly fails the criteria. Mostly their are POOL campus which give equal opportunity for everyone. Their are Jobs of all profiles : Engineering Core/ Non technical back end jobs. No big company visits the campus but the college candidates are invited for POOL campus.

College Events

The college is good for academic. Lectures/ Practical are strictly monitored. Cultural events lack as compared to other institutes in Pune. Extra curricular exposure is student driven. The institute supports the students in every possible way. Events are at institute level only. However JSPM group offers many other events in their other campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

No Scholarship. However through CAP rounds you can opt for EBC scholarships. One good thing about institute is that you can opt for installment as per your choice. The loans are available from SBI/ICICI.

Campus Life

Common Sports ground, No gym, Small Canteen, Library of 100 capacity, Well equipped labs. Wifi is not that great. Overall infrastructure is satisfactory with hygiene maintained. Common seminar hall for each department. Mechanical dept is given special treatment because of the consistent results.

Hostel Facilities

No hostel for boys. Hostel facility only for girls. Though their are plenty of Flats available in nearby locality which makes the living economical. You can limit the expense at Rs 5,000/- per month including food and stay. The locality is Semi urban as compared to Pune.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

in terms of engagement its pretty good. you have a diverse set of peers group to learn from.
we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

Dislikes

missing on college campus because of space .

Placement Experience:

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.
