Entrance Preview

TNEA-TAMILNADU ENGINEERING admission 2013, Students will be called for counselling based on marked scored on 12th standard.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum now revised by Anna university chennai. Now 2013 syllabus will be followed. Most of the faculty in my college has finished ph.d degree.Also they have more than 5-10 years experience in teaching field.

Internships Opportunities

College won't provide internship facility. It is our responsibilities to get internship from any company by reference. Then college will give permission for attending that internship.

Placement Experience

Placement was nice in my college. Beginning of 7th semester college will conduct 20 days placement training programme for final year students. Most of my friends placed in top mnc companies. During 2013 placement record was 85%.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was a top outstanding college in chennai. Students have to pay rs 45000 each year as per Anna university norms and yearly fees varies if student interested to take extra facilities like college bus, hostel etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year college offers scholarship as per government rules. College will returns yearly fees to top 3 rank students each year.

Campus Life

Ragging was strictly prohibited inside the college campus. If anybody involved in ragging, college management will give severe punishment like min of 15days suspension etc. In 2012 4 members were suspended for 1 month because of involving ragging.

Hostel Facilities

Mess food was ok but not very good. Weekly thirce non veg will be offered.total fees for hostel was rs 50000 including mess, room rent per year.

Alumni/Alumna

Each year college will conduct alumini meeting. If alumini members interested college will offer tour trips. Last year college offers ooty trips for alumini members. Due to some personal work I am not participated in that trip.

Exam Structure

Per semester 6 subjects and three labs. First 2 semester common for all department students. Labs facilities was good and full and full air-conditioned.

Placement Experience:

This is the best thing about the college. Lots of people join here solely for the placement opportunities and also the internship opportunities. There is also foreign placements internships and higher studies opportunities

Everything about cit from my experience.

Likes

Vibrant campus, people really love to do celebrations daily if they can
Good placements, a lot of people get what they expected to get.
Valuable hostel life, besides the small changes needed , the life u get in hostel is unforgettable.

Dislikes

Overly crowded. The strength of the campus atudents and the area ratio is definitely large.
Baising over gender Privileges. Out time different for both genders, lab accessibility etc..

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semesters students are eligible for placements. There are more than 300 to 500 companies came with offers from 3.5 lpa to 60lpa. Overall more than 90 percent of students are getting placed. Average package is 8lpa. I got placed in a top semiconductor company on my 3rd year of college with 16lpa package. Im currently at the internship period and completing my final year of study together.

A life of success and enjoyment

Likes

I like here incubation lab because I learn lot from the lab and then they identify students ideas and provide fund also
Here I like the sports activities and then cultural activities
I like the college venue because the campus is giving pleasant for me

Dislikes

I don't like food because that food and all not eaten in my life
I don't like the hostel because they gave a common bathroom for us
I don't like the mess because it was uncleaned

Placement Experience:

Yes they will provide placement training for afterthat the will provide the placement to us with average salary 50000 high and 75 percentage of students get placement our college highest salary 12lakhs per annum

They give more confidence to make a decision on the project and teaching methods is too good to study for the same subject to the students with low budget from the organizer concept of the experiment nowadays

I have interested in electronics and communication so i choose the course Student ratio is 60 member per classes All are good trained teachers and teaching method is good Every 6 months once the term exams it little difficult to pass

Best place to learn engineering

Infrastructure isvery good the atmosphere to learnis good
The faculties are to be appreciated for their strenuous effort
The placement cell works all through the year.

Placement Experience:

Wipro, ibm Bosch etc are few who cane for placements. Presently the placements are very good almost 90percents of the eligible students get placed through the placement cell. The package was from 2.5lakh to 5 lakh on an average

I have a strong interest in the computer field. Because of my interest, I took the engineering course. The staff also taught the concept well and trained the students. Since it was an engineering field, it was quite tough but went well.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility for the campus placements is from the 8th semester. The placements were from many different companies. There were lots of students who got placements in various different companies. My plan is to do PG in this course.

As of now, I don't know about placement details. but according to the seniors it is from itc,aachi masala, and some bank jobs are available for.food techs but many will opt for higher studies as of now. internship opportunities are all available from 4th year

I chose Saveetha Engineering College as i liked tha fact it is technology dependant and has a well structured Ai Ds curriculum covering all aspects. It also has tie ups with developing inductries allowed the students to get more opportunities. The labs are just great with a lot of facilities.
