My college may not be the best but it wasnt the worst either, my college did not have much space for students to stroll during breaks and also some of the teachers are too new and mild so they are not able to handle a class full of michievous students.
Entrance Preview
CAT - since i wanted to be a professional post graduate and found other options not relevant to me. Simultaneously i also gave a campus interview for reliance company but did not take the job since i wanted to dedicate lot of time for my education.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was to the point and relevant to the subject i had taken. It was vast and informative with relevant examples and graphs the faculty was cooperative and informative and ready to help with high standards of education with them.
Internships Opportunities
I did my internship from a company called venus international which was recommended by my institute. The stipend offered during my time was quite low. I was paid rs 3800 pm.
Placement Experience
Some of my friends got placed in companies like reliance, amara raja batteries, hypercity, serco but during my time the highest salary offered was rs 12000 + incentives and overtime.
College Events
In vivek college the college festival was called antarisksha. We did not celebrate it in a grand way but ensured that everybody enjoyed themselves. We had many dramas, stand up comedians, and mimics and not to forget dance competitions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was nominal - easily feasible by any middle class family rs 4000 yearly and rs 900 for computer science per month. For students who could not afford this, the yearly fees of rs 4000 could also be paid quaterly or half yearly.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware about any scholarship / loan facility offered by my college and obiviously i have never availed it.
Campus Life
My campus life was very funtastic just the way i had given title to this comments. There were many discriminations among students but our teachers knew very well how to handle this and maintain peace between students. We had periodic debates, workshops, competitions.
Alumni/Alumna
My college seniors very very mature and helpful. Thankfully they did not believe in ragging and instead were more mindful about their behaviour and did not throw attitude about being senior around.
