Remarks

There are 3 ways to get admission in this college. Kcet, comedk and management quota. I had a rank of 13k in the comedk exam and then I sat in the comedk counseling procedure in which I was alloted this college based on my rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It is a very good college as the teacher staffs are very supportive here. Teachers are very friendly with us. By 2021 it has become an autonomous college under VTU. They are highly educated and are ready to help us every time. The college is situated in a residential area so everything is available around it.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College provide many internship-based roles in a company that recruits full-time employee after successful completion of internship. I have not done any internship till now but will be doing after 2nd year.

Placement Experience

4.5

From 6th Semester onwards , students become eligible to sit in placements. Highest package is 21 lakhs per annum and the lowest is 4 Lakhs. I am still in my 1st year so I don't have much idea about the no. Of companies visited and offers made. But from seniors, I have heard placements are quite good here.

Fees and Financial Aid

The placement department of the college is quite active and a large number of companies visits the college. The college has a good alumini network. Fees through comed-k is quite high so middle-class people face difficulty to pay but it's is worth it.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life is full of restrictions. The only best time when you can do anything in this college is Fest time. The fest 'TATVA' happens every year in the month of March and one more day 'Ethnic day' also celebrated like a festival here. Sports activities, cultural activities, trekking are all part of extracurricular activities.Every branch has their own club.

And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.
