NIT Srinagar Review

I was searching for a college with a good placement record for management students and with a good faculty record. One of my cousins who was NIT Srinagar passed out suggested me the name of the college and I immediately took action and became part of NIT Srinagar. The candidate must clear the CAT exam and must secure a minimum of 60% marks in its graduation program followed by the performance of the candidate in the GD and PI round. NIT Srinagar is popular for its placement in MNC as lots of MNC visit the campus during the college placement drive.

The curriculum follows the latest industrial norms. The curriculum is designed to impart students with an advanced level of knowledge in the field of management and develop their managerial skills according to the corporate world. The curriculum is divided into 4 semesters.

After the completion of the first year, you are eligible for the internship program. The college placement cell helps you out to identify companies for the internship program. The stipends depend according to the company and the tenure of the internship, stipends usually ranges from Rs. 16000/- to Rs. 90000/-. Student can opt for an off-campus internship if he/she wants. Students can also skip the internship program but they have to submit a written assignment according to their subject of choice.

I joined NIT Srinagar because of its placement record. The college placement committee is very helpful and supportive. The placement cell is very hardworking and they great no of MNC to the college for placement. To be part of NIT Srinagar is worth it. The college provides you best return on investment. the highest package for our batch was 21 LPA and the average package was around 11 LPA. I also receive the package of 15 LPA from Reliance. Companies like Mahindra, HP, IBM, L&T, HCL, Honda, TCS, Wipro, Simplex, Accenture, TATA Motors visited the campus during the placement drive of the college.

The college offers scholarships for merit students. The college also offers a scholarship to SC/ST/PWD students. The college also offers an education loan facility. The college admission department guides you and will help you out for availing education loan. Financial grant is also available for underprivileged students. The college life of NIT Srinagar is okay. The students are not too socialite as everyone is busy in their studies. The college also organizes a few events. The college classrooms are good and spacious. the library of the college compromise of all the books from all kinds of authors around the world. The scenic view of the campus is soothing to the eyes.

The hostel rooms are big and spacious. The hostel registration process is very easy. The mess food is good and healthy. The hostel is well maintained and clean. The college hostel is equipped with all the facilities for students. The warden and the hostel staff are very friendly. The hostel is like a second home for students. The menu is very vast and it keeps on changing.

The faculty of the college is experienced. Most of the faculty are of Ph.D. level from the reputed institute of India. The faculty is friendly and students can approach the faculty to clear their doubts at any time. The faculty also have industrial exposure related to their field which is very helpful to the students.
