Remarks

I have written LPUNEST examinaton and i scored 384 out of 420 I got 1st category cut off marks so i was eligibile for Scholership of 30 to 50% In the official lpu website, There we can find every detail of admission process and also about college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually I have keen intrest in computers so i gave choosen CSE The student Ratio is average that the lecturer would able to look after every student. Teaching method was quite intresting, teaching would done by explaing the presentaions that would help to undestrand the concept Clearly. First Mid term examinations was conducted after 7 weeks of comencement of classes then After midterm examination Again 7 weeks there would be End term By caluculation of both marks The grades was anounced. Actually Its not much dificult to pass If we prepare we can pass But without preparation it would be very tough to pass.

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 168000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many companys those offers internships such as cogmizant, IBM, Google ,microsoft.... Etc. Coding projects to create some Programme or Operating system or Many things in CSE to do Projects.

Placement Experience

From 6th semister the placements ans internshis would begin Highest package offered is 43LPA from microsoft. Average pacage is 4.5LPA many studentes get placed around 10 - 15LPA some students can get Higher Packages Aroung 80% students will get placed with good packages My plan is to get placed In Reputated Mnc With Good Package.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually One good thing about fee is The fee what we have paid in the first semister The same amount of fee would be for all semisters. No increament of fee. We have to pay For reappers I got first category cut off marks in LPUNEST examination so 36000 rupees was reduced it mean scholership.

Campus Life

There will be Some fests because many things wouls happen in Lpu There is UNITY IN DIVERSITY in lpu. students form all over globe would participate in those fests. Lpu had Biggest library where we can find Many books High or much importance is given to sports in LPU We know neeraj chopra Olympic Gold medalist From lpu. There is a big Indoor sports complex and many sports facilites like shooting Hockey Badminton Everything And Every fecility is in LPU Students Run many social groups and clubs such As Lpu students created an app names PMS where students can find every course 's notes ans exam papers. and many clubs they have organised such as AASHRAY, SML and many.

Hostel Facilities

We have AC GEYSER And The room has 4 beds. Meal quaility was satisfactory, Menu I have choosen south indian menu Mess contain every region separate menu . As per the security provided in LPU hostel the pg i feel little unsecurd so i choose College Hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Likes

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

Dislikes

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events
infrastructure is not that good , as they were should on the online it is dii
Placement cell provides opportunities but the stronger industry connections.

Placement Experience:

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Dislikes

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time
Placement is decent and average as like other collage

I like my couse btech with computer science because it has high change to geeting high paying jobs and to build a successful career with my opinion they can improve their faculty with higher education qualification

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY
