Remarks

Jain group of institution being a best one with much deserved has best management.

Entrance Preview

I took CET with ranking 7000. Even thought it was a new college and since i was a part of Jain Group from past 5 years made up this choice.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was perfectly planned and dealt with all the much experienced faculty it was thought in a planned and perfect manner.

Internships Opportunities

Very Good with scope and also many extenal internship oppurtunies were also offered with best packages available on date. Around Rs 10000 per month to Rs 15000 based on tenure.

Placement Experience

Infosys 152,Accenture 83,mindtree 4. Companies offered good package according to the conpany standards and also on personal ratings.

College Events

College had the best possible activities throughout the year. Start in from the blood dinatoon camp till the annual cultural amd sports fest. Annual magazine and etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We had 2 sections. One lower with cet which is very less. Another higher with cet moderate and the heighest being management quota. Management quota was the highest fee category.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholorship was offered for all the rank holders in each semesters. With good support in the m form of fee wave off amd also in the form of voncessions in the fee.

Campus Life

One of the best campus one can ever have. Will cherish every moment. Well equiped labs. Activirlties spread throughout the semestrs. No boting oeriod left in campus with ever engineering student life with a very good balance.

Hostel Facilities

One of the best possible infrastructure with saperate hostels for boys and girls with international standards. Food was both south and north indian.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Had best possible seniors. Not even a single day had a bad and unhealthy situation in college with seniors. Had a very friendly and healthy environment with everyone.

Exam Structure

We had 3 internals per semester and one main exams at end of each semester. Totally 8 semesters spread accross 4 years.

Faculty

Best faculty from all desciplines. At all levels faculty in all the aspects of student development. Including cirriculum and also other activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Likes

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

There is a discipline in our college and good atmosphere

from 5 th semester there will be campus place ment is there There will many companies are visited , like Amazon, google, There is 60 lakh per annual but i didn't known which companies there will be 80 percent students are getting placement my plan is to make money and help the poor peoples There is beast placement in our college , there will be a internships and good here for Hailey package in this college

Good Infrastructure and Career Opportunities

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

Likes

Campus is good and mainly located near Whitefield.
too good supportive professor. Staff are too chill. Some staff are like our bestfriend's.
Lab equipment are good . You are not facing any issue with pc.. it's good

Dislikes

There is only few events in a year. I think only 3 events.
Hostel building is too bad. And hostel food is too bad.
There is no field to play games like cricket, football.

Placement Experience:

After 8 sems we are eligible for placements. TCS ,Dell and many companies visited mvj. Highest package of mvj was 22lakhs per annum. Basically some companies ask CGPA at above 8. My plan is a developer after my engineering in python language or Else I will continue my dad business

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

Best location of college in the silicon valley of India
Various opportunities of internship to students

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

The minimum mark is to aggregate 60% in sslc and hsc..and the entrance is based on u wish either jee,jet or comedk.
