You can take admission in this college through MHTCET JEE MAINS you can see the application form on the college website rknec.edu college fees may vary as per caste category and quota I paid 95935/- for 1st yr mechanical engineering I have taken the admission through OBC minority RCOEM is one of the best colleges in Nagpur. It has 2nd ranking in Nagpur after VNIT. RCOEM provides 95% placements every year they provide start-up funds up to 5lakh & the college has internship programs College has a fee structure on their website. The college has a minority quota with a 51% admission process is simple you just have to visit the college after cap allotment with all mentioned original documents and cap allotment letter they will keep ur all documents and must take DD as per your category fees. I guess the SC category has 25000/- fees in RCOEM and OPEN has 165935/- if OBC with non-creamy layer then only 95935/-.

The student ratio is 60 in each class and they divided 60 into 2 batches as well. It was my dream to be a mechanical engineer that's why I choose the above course. You will be meeting with the best faculty in this college overall with great experience with all lecturers. exam pattern you have to go through 6 TA each is for 5 marks Total 30 Marks in & 2 Unit test each for 15 marks Total 30 after that you have to pass end sem means 1st Sem examination with 40 marks so total 100 marks for each course in 1st SEM.

I just took admission to this college. The college has a 95% placements guarantee. My cousins pass out from this college and now they are placed in big companies such as TCS & Infosys etc. College average package is 4-5lakh for the mechanical branch. And the highest package is 12lakh for this branch.

The college has 30k books novels and much more in the library. The college has different buildings for each branch. The college has 2 main fests PRATISHRUTI, GYANODAYA. Sports and extra activites are also there. The college has many clubs for each department and branches.

College campus is the most beautiful thing and is favorite among the students
College culture, the amount of events and extra curriculars offered are unbeatable.
The learning facilities are top notch, from labs to classrooms everything is great.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have completed degree in Computer science with Al and analytics as specialization, considering that the course is very relevant and industry specific, there are often industry visits and mentor sessions to learn real time. The exams are conducted thrice every semester two exams are of 20 marks each and final is of 60 marks, the diffculty level is easy to moderate and it also varies student to student.

Likes

The campus of our college is very nice. Everywhere there is greenary.
Faculty of each and every subject is very supportive and solves students doubt immediately

Dislikes

The lectures get cancelled any time so the localites day gets very hectic.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year atudents becomes eligible for placements if he/she has developed or built proper skills. Many companies like Wipro, Flipkart, Amazon, etc. visit and there are a lot of offers made every year.

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Reputation of College great outside as it is a National Institute
VNIT being a campus of 250 Acre has a very lush green campus.
Great Alumni Network Of the College so you required any help there are alumni sitting in every corner of world.

Dislikes

Lot of Workload..The prof of VNIT are very strict towards acads.
Some old building of College are not renovated yet.
There should be more than one canteen in college.

Placement Experience:

College's Training and Placement Cell is very active in providing placement to the students. Many esteemed companies like Google,Oracle, De Shaw, Goldman Sachs,etc. visit our campus and provides hand on packages and Interns to the students.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Dkte is best for practical knowledge because of its pilot plants which are having machineries with good working conditions
Highly skilled faculties with excellent experience of industrial as well as teaching sector
There are many facilities like idea lab and other testing labs are available which helps students in there project related and research related work

Dislikes

College timing is more as compared to other Colleges
Extra curricular activities and annual events are not upto the marks as compared to other colleges
Canteen facilities for breakfast, lunch, dinner are not that good

Students are getting eligible in 6 semester for campus placement Companies like Trident , Arvind Ltd, epic group ,uniclo, vardhaman textile ,dyester ,Aditya Birla knits, Aditya Birla fashion retail, reliance, OCM ,donear etc are visiting and offering jobs ranging from 3.5 lakhs to 18 lakhs per annum Highest salary job is given by companies like Trident and epic group the salary is ranging between 18 -19 lakhs 100 % of students are getting placed every year
