Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because data science nowadays is the most trending field out there and is the highest-paid. 1:70 is the faculty-student ratio for a class. No idea about the qualification but the teaching method is pretty good and well-mannered, they teach topics briefly along with extra questions and practice. Midterm exams arrived too early in the first semester, so we faced trouble because a bit more syllabus was left to cover Coming to end-term exams, it's all MCQ types and the 2-minute timer is there for each question. The level of questions mostly is Moderate.
Placement Experience
For the 5th semester, students become eligible for placements Accenture - 1000 offers Byjus - 50 The highest package secured is 42 lacs by TAMIYA ARORA in Microsoft Nearly 55% of the students get placed Plan after getting a degree- to get placed in one of the big MNCs
Fees and Financial Aid
Normal fees for full-time course is: 150000 After scholarship, it minimum reduces to 80000 As I scored good in LPUNEST and CBSE Boards, mine came down to 105000 Scholarships: > LPUNEST > 10+2 marks > Defence service
Campus Life
The annual fest was conducted in the month of December and a tech fest was conducted recently in the month of November-December. Almost all course guides and reference books are there in the college library and they are all FREE TO READ but only for a limited time. Classrooms are big enough with good quality benches and chairs Sports activities happen every now and then and also the college provides us with a huge gymnasium, basketball court, swimming pool, etc. Some clubs I know are: RISK Metal club
Hostel Facilities
I haven't been to the hostel yet but I've heard from my friends that the hostel is alright, not that good nor that bad. But looking at the cost of the hostels it's not worth it so most of the people live in PGs near law gate only as that's the only place near to university plus has most PGs and hostels for both boys and girls.
