Remarks
Admission process was through JAC counseling. It's very convenient and easy to understand. The only exam they consider is the your All India rank in Jee Main. Generally the application form for jee main is released in October but one can never be sure about that in this covid Era. Cutoff for computer engineering is around AIR 7000-8000 for the last round of counseling.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since we are attending the college in online mode, we have to do a project each semester on different subjects which amounts to around 6 projects every semester. The curriculum is up to date and faculty members are very skilled and helpful. One can score 8+ GPA easily. Try to communicate with faculty members as much as possible. One can learn a lot from them.
Internships Opportunities
Just like placement stats, internship opportunities are great too. Top companies include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, uber, Adobe, etc. Stipend is as high as 3 lacs for some companies . Role offered is mostly SDE.
Placement Experience
Being one of the tier-1 colleges, great placement is one of the assured things. More than 90% of students from tech branches gets placed. The highest foreign package offered is around 1.5 cr per annum and the domestic one goes as high as 50 lpa. The average package is around 17-18 lpa for tech branches. Top recruiting companies include Google,Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman sachs, sprinkl, TCS, SanDisk, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is around 8.5-9 lacs for the 4 years. The fees is a bit higher for the facilities college provides. The college provides many scholarship facilities and financial assistance. Also the college conducts USIP internships time to time which you can avail. These internships helps in skill development and provides monetary gains too.
Campus Life
Expanding in an area of 66 hectares (164 acres), infrastructure is very good and campus is great. OAT is one of the best parts of the college. Canteens provide good food at reasonable rates. Speaking of the sports ground , it is huge and has special nets for cricket practice. You can also play badminton, TT, etc in the indoor stadium. DTU organises annual engifest which is the most famous fest in North India. The different societies and social groups provides all round development to the students.
