Remarks

It's very easy to take admission in my college. You get 80% above in class 12. You can gather all details in management room. Yes ofcourse it's to approve your admission in this college campus and no need to worry about any kind of frustration during the process of admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

Due to which I am really interested in this course. Faculty was good and food also good and staff was awesome and cute. Teaching methods like a friend tells about how to study and how we prepare for our semester. Every year exams held, its very tough to pass but teaching staff helps to reduce stress during examination.

Internships Opportunities

Like Google Microsoft apple Samsung oppo etc and many more companies provide many roles and offers intership program with few costs . Like create an app and decode this with easily way and friendly with people and easily understandable.

Placement Experience

Maybe 3 semester student gets placement offers from campus and Many popular company. Lots of companies like Google, Microsoft, apple,Samsung, oppo etc and lots of offer provided. Maximum package is 3.4 cr and lowest package is 60lakh. Above 70% students gets easily placement. Take a good placement and enjoy the life and true all the dreams that I have been see.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not much cost but easily middle class family student take admission in this University. You got good marks in your semester you got scholarship and also your fees also deducted. Campus also good and maintain higein and affordable to all students

Student fan fest organised in every year and held on September in every year. Lots of books Available and also required books available in library. Lots of sports playing in every weekend.most probably cricket is the love of all students. So cricket is the very popular game. Like sports leader doing sports activities and all leader doing their own activities.

Hostel Facilities

Average quality provided by hostel staff. Meal also be average quality and quantity. Registration also simple and easy to take admission in hostel and provide good food and provide 24*7 light and water supply. Local room also available for students and not much cost deduction.

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
