Remarks

I got elected into anna university bcos of my 12th mark. I got 97% so chose Geoinformatics as my discipline. We have downloaded the application form from the internet on their website by paying rs.500, we want to fill out the application and sent it before the due date. The schedule for counseling will be released after that, Based on cut-off marks we had to choose the college.

I'm very interested in geographical terms and studies, so I had chosen this course.10:60 faculty-student ratio-facilities are an experienced and knowledgable person. Exams were easy to pass if u were able to understand the course completely.

Internships Opportunities

I joined an internship with govt geographical survival department, they provide a stipend of around20000 for 20 days. I have done my projects for fiding soil quality to perform the construction process, more than 10 people have accompanied me.

Placement Experience

Placements play a major role in daily life. 7th sem having some internships and placements more than 100 companies have visited our campus. Mostly 98% of students got placed. I have also been placed in the on-campus company.

Fees and Financial Aid

50000 per year first semester. It includes some additional costs like notebooks, lab coats, shoes, EG instruments, some stationery things I got govt community scholarship based on 12th marks. 7000 I got per year.

Campus Life

We have conducted SIVARAJINI as an annual fest, all over colleges students from Tamilnadu had participated in this festival to cast their talents. The campus was so good and greenery and neat. Many clubs lie TED, Tamilmandra, YRC.NSS, NCC are there on the campus.

Hostel Facilities

It's having many hostels buildings. All the rooms were fully cleaned and maintained. The foods quality is very good I usually prefer to say in a hostel rather than stay in PG. They Non-veg for persons who had chosen, the egg is provided daily for all.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

My engineering cut off is 151.i have already booked a seat in Dr MGR university.But i waited for counseling too .Then before counseling I phone called colleges in Chennai,covai,Trichy I will tell my cut off and they will tell me the fees structure according to my cut off...nearly u have called every colleges in Chennai and Coimbatore sector... While I am calling for DHAANISH AHMED INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY I found that this college provides good education with affordable fees structure and provides good placement too so I came to visit my college.before that in MGR there is no hostel facility for bme students so i was told to stay in pg when I look at that ph photos I was too stunned i didn't even like that place....But when I came to my college I loved the environment and my hostel too so compared to other college I like this one. I chose this college over others like XYZ College and ABC Institute mainly because of its strong placement record, affordable fee structure, and experienced faculty.
