Good college. Decent placement.

For admission in techno main salt Lake one has to sit in wbjee. 80 percent of seats are reserved for students who apply from wbjee, 10 percent seats are reserved for students from jee mains and 10 seats are for direct admission. So one must give any of the two exams to take admission to this college. For direct admission, the fees are quite high.

I chose this course because I'm interested in learning computer-related stuff. Also, computer science is an evergreen department and has a good scope. The faculty is good. They help students. There are 65 students in one class. So the ratio is quite good as compared to other colleges.

Well getting an internship is a little difficult in this college but still many students get internships. Tcs digital, TCS ninja, etc are the companies that offer internships. But the stipend is less. It varies from 5000 to 10000 rupees

Nearly 90-95% get students placed from the in the campus. Some get good packages. Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft all come for placement here. My plans are to get a job after getting a degree in hand. The highest package is 12lpa and the lowest is 2-3 LPA

In my 4 years course session, the total course fee is 4.2 lakhs. Each semester the fees have to be paid in advance (amount around 50 thousand per sem, differs from sem to sem). Before each semester an amount of 1200/- has to be paid to the Makaut through the college for exam registration. For me, Yes the amount is a bit expensive, however, it's normal compared to other private engineering colleges in Kolkata.

TMSL college provides you with A-graded labs and the best infrastructures. There are plenty of choices of extracurricular activities. Sports Tournaments are organized in the fest seasons. clubs like Geekonix, Anakhronos, SPIE, etc ate there. Geekonix organizes plenty of interactive talk shows, and the largest fest EDGE Anakhronos organizes cultural fests SPIE is the only international chapter in the college, which is a US-based student chapter related to studies on optics and photonics and many more, can't be summed up here in this write-up.
