Remarks

99 percentile in JEE mains is enough for taking admission in DTU in general category and 94 for obc candidates You can find the application form from jac Delhi counseling site You must have a caste certificate issued from Delhi government if you want to take admission from Delhi quota The admission process is simple and good

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because it has scopes in both the tech and government sectors In our college, we have different teachers for lab and theory and tutorials so the ratio of teachers and students is good enough Faculties are really qualified most of them are PhD graduated few are Ph.D. scholars which are assistant professors Here in DTU, there are too many tests this year 3 class tests, 2 surprise tests, some quizzes, and 1 project in each subject exam are not tough to pass they are on average

Internships Opportunities

4

From the end of the 4th semester, you can apply for internships in companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, apke etc. They give you the opportunity to show your skills in a project like small projects. Examples of projects is like too research and planning a new project Develop support material Create an event

Placement Experience

5

From the end of 6th-semester companies started coming with job offers almost 220 companies come every year for placements almost every student can get a placement if they maintain a good cgpa and a good knowledge Companies visited are in tech Microsoft, apple, amazon, Infosys, etc and in nontech The highest package ever gone in DTU is 1.45 cr and the average is 15 lakh per annum Almost 80 percent of students get placed every year and some go for higher studies means placements are too good in DTU.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are slightly high in DTU for btech it is 890700 for 4 years DTU provides such a good scholarship for students who belong to low-income groups like fee concession and some government scholarship like PM scholarship for low-income groups and you can get education loan here easily

Campus Life

5

The annual fest of DTU is manifest in this year 2K22 it will happen in between March and April other great fests is Yuvaan tech fest is Invictus and for sports is aavahan All types of books related to BTech course is available in library you can access them anytime if library open but the number of books are lesser than the comparison of students Classrooms of DTU are too comfortable as they are fully air-conditioned and clean and big enough Sports complex of DTU is tooo large may be it's bigger than the whole campus of IIIT delhi you can too many different types of sports there like football, cricket, lawn tennis, volleyball, kabbadi, badminton and much more and in indoor complex there are carrom, chess, table tennis, etc there is a gym also which is open for every college students There are too many societies in DTU like cultural council which organises engifest and Yuvaan, pratibimb, manthan, inferno etc.

Top Recruiters are Infosys, ZS Associated, Swiggy, JustPAY and there were about 250 offers in 2025 Highest package was 63LPA off-campus, 27LPA on campus and Average package is about 6-7LPA, most profiles are software developer About 60-80% of the eligible students got placed last year I would like to work as a software engineer for 2-3 year and then do MBA alongside job and then apply for management roles.

Placement Experience:

For placement, I would say it is average in terms of top-tier colleges. Average placement is 6 LPA; the highest last year was 29 LPA in BTech AI/ML. Placement is offered in the 4th year of the courses, and there are on-campus placements available, but under significant criteria based on the recruiting company like cgpa should be more then 7.5 no active backlog and all so these are the cretiera that a company demands and depands of dfiffrent companies i dont have any subsqueent infomation regaridng the name of companies visited and no of offer made but i have the information regarding thear placement percenateg it was aroung 82 percent last year my plans are to prepare for govt exam and get in there after getting degree

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

I don't know much about placement because I don't want to sit in the placement drive of my college. Like I told earlier also that I have interest in electronics, so I want to do something in that field. If I want then I will give GATE exam after 4 years of my college so that I can get a chance to do MTECH in vlsi.
