Remarks

You have to require to pass the LpuNestExam to get scholarship upto 50%. And there is special scholarship for those students who comes from sports quota...Students who have more than 60% in 12th are eligible for btech in CSE. No I don't want see any improvement in admission process because admission process is already very smooth.. you will not face any difficulty in it.. even by chance you face any problem they will help at every moment...

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have been always interested in tech fields that's why I choose BTech in computer science and engineering.. there are around 2000 faculty in lpu.. and there is 30000 students in lpu.. so thr ratio of teachers and students is 1:15.. and faculties are very humble and helpful.. And coming to end term exams that is very easy to pass if you just go through ppt that you have been provided you will get pass and you can easily score well..

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 196000 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

In lpu almost every companies visit every year like Google, Amazon , microsoft.. they all offers packages according to students skills.. if students have capabilities to crack the test they easily gets palaced in big companies.. there is some hackathons also provided by college in which you will be Given some projects related to today's problem and you have to solve it...

Placement Experience

4.5

After 4 th semester you will start getting opportunity for internshihs and after 6th semester you will eligible for campus placements.. and in lpu over 500 companies visits every year.. and highest package is offered till no is 42lpa and average packe is around 4.5 LPA.. and here almost 100% students get placed.. my plan is to explore myself more in tech field and to learn many things

Fees and Financial Aid

So there will be no hike of course fees Till the end of the course.. that will be remain same but after every year there will be hike in hostel and mess fees.. and you will be provided with many scholarship in campus and offcampus you have to just prepare for it.. there is average salary of cse branch is 5 lpa..

Campus Life

In lpu there is many clubs which conduct many fest including tech fest.. and there is so many fest you will get to see by college itself..and there is enough books in Library and Library is one of the best place in lpu.. College conducts many sports and extra curricular activities for interested students on the campus every month or after every two month.. there is so many clubs like geeks for geeks Lpu , Google developer student club and so many..

Other Applied Colleges

Vellore institute of technology | BTech.

I didn't have 75% that's why I didn't got admission in it...

Dislikes

There are few lack of infrastructure issue on labs
There are some issues I saw with hostel rooms

Course Curriculum Overview:

I particularly liked my minor degree in Electronics and Communication engineer which is cover more on the modern Computer hardware concepts . Suggestion as overall faculty can introduce one course each semester as elective which student can learn apart from that branch.

The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

college life of Chandigarh university is so good, all the events do happen .
teachers are so experienced and they are so supportive in here.
the placements in this university are great, all the big tech companies do visit while placements and provide jobs to the deserved students.

Dislikes

All the online courses should be reduced.
nothing is there in the university that is to dislike.
majority of the things are all good in our university.

Placement Experience:

The placemnets in the university starts from the 3 year only. companies comes in the 3rd year, students= can give interviews in this year, and they can get the NOC. wich means you can go for the job or the iinternship and there is no need to take the classes, because you are taking the indyustry level experience in the prior basis also.

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
