Remarks

The admission process is very easy. You have to score a good rank in Ojee or jee. Then you choose your college list. The selection list will be published in 3 phases. Then you will receive your online college admission letter. Then you should go to college and get admitted. There are reservations for PWD students, merit students, and the background category students. There should be a decrease in the time length of the whole process.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is very popular and profession-oriented. I knew about this course from my mentors and seniors. The faculty students ratio is about 1:15. Some teachers are very well qualified and knowledgeable. They are providing quite good lectures with unique methods. There are internal exams and semester exams conducted each semester and it's not so difficult to pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities

There are some internship programmes arranged. But all students are not getting maximum information about these. A number of students are participating in the internship programme and also getting stipends during the course. Students are quite involved in project works and getting good outcomes from these.

Placement Experience

Many students are getting campus jobs in jobs fairs inside or outside the campus. Students are eligible for jobs after final semester completion. Many TECH companies are hiring our students along with some students also not getting good jobs and some choose for higher studies. So I also choose higher studies. The average package at starting is about 15-20k per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is about 10000 excluding another fee like a hostel, Registration fee, and other fooding. There are good opportunities for getting stipends from various scholarship programs. The students are benefited from financial assistance from the college government student welfare fund. Prerana E-medhabruti Pragati these are some scholarships where students get benefits. There are campus jobs provided to these students during job fairs

Campus Life

The annual fest named Annual Vibration 2022 observed every year. All staffs and students are enjoy this Programme.there are many tech fests and seminars and online webinars conducted frequently.there are all books available for students in library. Various research papers and journals and e-papers are available there. Classroom are well maintained and with good amenities. Annual sports programs along with curricular programmes like quiz and debate are conducted. Students always active with social groups website and clubs.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are just good. According to the monthly rent, it's not satisfactory. Students can also rent nearby private mess and PGs. The affordability is just okay. hostel registration is also not so difficult it's a very short process. The hostel menu and its quality are not bad.

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Likes

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

Recommended College for Recognised Course for students benifit

It's a very easy process You have to score in entrance examinations like Ojee or jee and you should eligible for appearing in this exam if you scored a good percentage in intermediate science. Good career option

There are different entrance examinations like jee, ojee in which you have to get good rank after completing your intermediate or degree course. Then the merit list or waitlist for colleges will be released from which you can opt for your college selection. Then document verification in counseling date and finally you will be called by the college for admission through a college admission letter. Well Recognised Mining College in Anugul

After completing the intermediate course you should apply for ojee entrance. You have to score a good rank in it and wait for the merit list released. Apply for your colleges of interest.
