Remarks

I passed the JEE Mains and then went through counselling, where I was sent to the Indian Institute of Information Technology Una college. After selecting the college, I discovered that the Indian Institute of Information Technology (Una) is designated by the Ministry of Education as an Institute of National Importance. The college education system is up to date with current industry standards, and the placement committee is extremely professional. I was also aware that IIITs colleges are very popular for B.Tech placement. Everything was in its proper place for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The college's curriculum is up to date and adheres to the most recent industry norms and requirements. The curriculum is meant to bring out the best in students; it is a solid mix of research and theoretical knowledge that adheres to industry norms. After finishing the second year, industrial trips are also scheduled; the following two years are mostly focused on ideas and research work, allowing students to apply academic knowledge in the real world.

Placement Experience

4

Because IIITs are well-known for their placement, I chose to be a part of the Indian Institute of Information Technology Una. IIIT Una is not far behind; the college's average package is 8 LPA, while our batch's top package was 15 LPA. During the placement drive, firms such as L&T, InfoTech, Analytics Quotient, Ebiz On, First American, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, and Infosys visited our campus. The college's placement cell is very helpful and encouraging.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had to pay the entire fees which was around 208000/- for the whole course. Scholarships are also available for SC/ST students. Because the college is of national importance and falls under the jurisdiction of the MHRD and MOE, these ministries also offer scholarship opportunities. You can learn more about the college's scholarship programme by visiting the college's official website.

Campus Life

4

The college's campus life is excellent. There are four clubs in all. Eunoia, an Epmoc cultural club, and AVEESH FORCE, a technical coding club, are the two technical coding clubs. Every year, the college hosts a number of events, including one to commemorate India's festival season. The classrooms have air conditioning. The college library is adequate, with a wide range of academic and non-academic materials available.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at my college are average. A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.
