The admission process is quite simple and students are admitted via counselling from entrance exams. There are also management seats and scholarships can also be availed from college. The office guides you through all the process well and thorough

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus that we follow is standard Anna university syllabus with 6 theory subjects and 2-3 laboratories in all semesters. The faculty to student ratio is 1:5 and all the faculties are well versed in what they are teaching. They review the topics they have taught the earlier days. The exams were quite difficult but through hardwork and support from the faculties, it is pretty easy to pass.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are not directly provided by the college but they refer us to reputed companies for undergoing internships. I got referred to Kerala State Electricity Board for a month's internship and received a stipend of Rs.5000 per month

Placement Experience

On-campus hiring is done in college and 99% of students get placed in reputed companies with an appreciable package per Annum. However, the college also fully supports plans for higher studies and guides you through it

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the course is 1,30,000 for one academic year and this includes tuition waver, library, books, and other amenities. School bus and hostels have separate fee and it is not included in the tuition waver. Scholarships and financial assistance can be availed from either Government organisations or from the college

Campus Life

Campus life is very flexible and the atmosphere is most suitable for studying and carrying out extracurricular activities. Annual fest and technical symposiums are conducted annually and sports including football, softball, basketball, badminton etc are actively pursued by students.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

I applied to Chennai Institute of technology where the fee structure was enormously high. Ehere as the SRM valliammai has good infrastructure and also the fee was reasonable. No, i didn't get rejection from Chennai Institute of technology. But i got impressed when i went for visiting SRM valliammai as one of my college hunt. SRM valliammai offers both government quota and also admission directly to the college. I went through government quota. So to apply SRM on should be completed 12th grade with reasonable percentage. I got into Panimalar Engineering College via Counselling process, but decided not to go as the college was very strict and Underexposed.
