Remarks

Eligibility-12th pass+ jee main through aktu Counseling. Firstly you have to apply for jee main after that you register on aktu Counseling portal and on the basis of jee ranks you got the college. Reservation-80% of seats are fixed for Uttar Pradesh students and 20% of seats are for All India and other state students who do not Avail of any caste reservation, they are considered as General Category.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Since I was a child I have interest in computers not only for playing but for doing work like making excel sheets and learning languages for example C++ so I have to choose the computer science branch. Every faculty have a PhD for the respective course they have experience of 15 years and college not only focus on the theory but also take lab class once a week. The exam happens from time to time like in a month or so. For 1 class for each subject 1 faculty is given.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 126000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship was not offered the companies in 22 years the internship was mainly through the skills and Aicte on the technology of AWS, Machine learning, cloud..etc. But the students can find the internship of their interest as well and do that. As I always did that because I was interested in graphic designing and video editing.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are quite impressive with placement ranging between 5-20 LPA and with an average of 5 lakh. Most of the mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and Accenture visit the colleges with an average of about 100-150 offers. About 95% of the students get placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite feasible as compared to other colleges in the region. B.tech fee is around 1,37,000 including the examination fee. U.P. scholarship is the scholarship they provide to students. Student loans can be taken easily.

Campus Life

There is various event conducted on college premises by the faculty member and seniors. Spot tournament, fest, and cultural events there are many events like photography, dancing, singing, treasure hunting, and coding competition.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
