Remarks

The eligibility in this course is that you should have a 70% aggregate in 10+2. And you have to clear the LPUnest exam to take admission to this course. You can easily find the application form on LPU's official website and form dates and fees are given there. Fees for the same is 800rs(for boys) and 500rs (for girls). I am in a general category so no reservation for me but if you are in any other category you will definitely get reservation benefits.

Course Curriculum Overview

I look through all courses but after all the further requirements, I think this is more reliable for me as it has good placements and career opportunities. Faculties make concepts easily understandable and have good teaching experience of 8-10 years and faculties are highly qualified. They teach us with the different mediums as they want all to be successful. All staff is helpful and caring with giving correct guidance to students. They also help us interact with lots of people. Semester exams are held after each semester and CA's are held every week for the management of marks. Exams are very easy to pass if you have good studies or make your time valuable in studies.

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 5th semester, you can be eligible for campus placements. Mahindra,eBay, Paytm visit to campus with variable offers. The highest package offered is 42LPA and Lowest is 5LPA. Many tech giants visit college campuses for hiring the best talents. They give everyone an equal opportunity to showcase their skills and talents and get the best out of it. 100% of students got placed every year in many companies. I need an campus job with a stipend after my degree completion.

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fees are 145000 and it is very basic compared to other colleges. As if you got highly placed in any companies that will be valuable. You can pay fees in instalments also or you can take help from a bank loan. LPUnest is itself a scholarship exam and gets a good score to get a good discount in fees. You will definitely get an on-campus job if you really worked hard and have better knowledge of studying languages.

Campus Life

Campus organizes various cultural events on a very large scale from time to time. It creates a very enriching atmosphere and promotes fun learning and happiness all around. You can borrow books from libraries and study from there also. Classrooms are with projectors, digitally evacuated. There are many sports and cultural activities available on the campus. Sports events/meets are held every year.

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY
