Remarks

You should have 65%-70% or above aggregate in 10+2 as well as in High school. And you have to qualify LPU entrance examination ie, LPUnest. and clear its cutoff marks. Just visit LPU's official website and you will get the application form, exam dates, etc. You can avail of reservation benefits. And you can get a discount in fees criteria by clearing LPUnest with a good score. No, improvement is needed as it is all fine.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very nice and builds an industry for students for the future. I have chosen this course as it is very valuable and has good placement opportunities. All staff is so helpful and caring with giving correct guidance to students. Teachers are highly qualified with good teaching experience and make concepts easily clear and understandable. Semester exams are held after each sem and CA's are held in every week for maintenance of CGPA.

Internships Opportunities

Mahindra,eBay, visit university with great intern opportunities. After 2nd year you are eligible for an internship. Most companies offer program analyst and trainee positions. If you have good projects on your resume you will get good internship. Projects mainly are: 1. Web developing field and cyber security. 2. Build your own website and work on it. 3. Tele caller.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year you become eligible for campus placement and prepare your resume. Yahoo, Google, Microsoft, etc. Visit every yer with reliable and huge offers. LPU has it's own record-breaking placement in top recruiting companies. Companies like Cognizant, Capgemini and also Amazon, Google, IBM visit universities for good placement. Microsoft offered 42LPA to Tanya, in 2020 which is really a great offer by Microsoft. Mainly,100% of students got placed every year in top recruiting companies I need on campus job after my degree completion.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee for the course is 1,55,000 per year and you can pay fees directly through any payment gateway, and pay fees in installments. Fees compared to other universities this has a fewer fee. But we can avail of scholarships benefits to reduce the fee through the LPUnest exam and also by JEE mains score. You will definitely get job on campus if you work hard. If you have financial problems you can also take benefits of bank loans, etc.

Campus Life

Many sports, cultural meets, EVEyouth are held every year and make everyone excited and students have skills can participate in it. Library is available to borrow books and read books of your own needs. Classrooms are fully digital and projectors are there to clarify doubts via smart media. In LPU many celebrities visit every year for enjoyment purposes. Cultural and sports activities are available on campus with a big auditorium and stadium. LPU has its own dedicated DSR called Division of Students Relationship which manages student clubs and extracurricular activities.

events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

75 percent attendance policy for classes

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY
