Remarks

LPU admissions are mainly based on the LPUNEST exam for which applications are visible on LPU official website. You have to clear the LPUNEST exam to take admission in a relevant course and try to score well in that to avail scholarship. Yes if you have a certificate of caste with an issue date then you can avail benefits. For LPU UG admission, aspirants must have passed their class 12 with an aggregate of up to 60% depending on the course they wish to seek admission to.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers are great, qualified and knowledgeable about the subjects which they are teaching us and the quality of teaching is good. Faculty members in our college are very helpful and always in an attempt to make students understand things easily. The course curriculum is having many things to study, which makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are held one time after each semester and it's easy to clear.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 145000 per year

Internships Opportunities

A total of 1600+ recruiters visited campus, and 8500+ offers were made during LPU placements. The highest stipend offered during the internship was INR 1.6 lakh per month. Adobe,Bosch,Capgemini,SpringRole,etc. comes with good internship opportunities. Tasks includes are : 1. Do research for a new project. 2. create a presentation. 3. Keep an organized workshop. 4. Help with brainstorming sessions.

Placement Experience

Many top companies such as TCS, Interview Bit, Adobe other firms visit, to employ graduates. Students need to work upon their own skills. and knowledge in order to grab a good placement. Mainly all students (100%) got placed every year, in top recruiting companies. Overall, I must say that LPU provides great placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 84K for the semester. You can get a scholarship based on your LPUNEST exam conducted by the university. You can grab up to 85% of your scholarship on your score in the LPUNEST exam. You can pay fees through any debit, credit, bank loan with the financial problems associated, cheque, etc.

Campus Life

Drive beside the gigantic, lush green,600+ acres mini township with state of art infrastructure, best in the class security and surveillance. The library has a fully automatic issue-return counter/machine that ensures hassle free transactions of books. Sports, culture and many annual meets are held every year for excitement at the campus. LPU has it's own big and large stadiums to play and auditoriums to do cultural activities.

Likes

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

Dislikes

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Dislikes

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time
Placement is decent and average as like other collage

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY
