Remarks

Eligibility for the course is to qualify for the entrance test of the college. We can find the application form on the college website and on the campus also. The application fee is 1500. Dates for the application will be announced by the college after submitting the form. Yes, there is reservation benefits for the students with good score in the entrance exam. No there is no improvement needed for this admission process because there is enough improvement in my college admissions office.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course for my convince and the ability for which I can gain more knowledge with great interest. The faculty and the student's ratio is 1:5. The qualification of the faculty is MTech and they are friendly with the students so that students can ask and clarify their doubts so easily. The term exams will be conducted according to the timetable which is provided by the college at the start of the semester. And it is moderate to pass the exam.

Internships Opportunities

Hexaware Technologies is the company that will be useful for the students to join the internship and get the certificate along with the stipend of 12000. And projects are different from different streams of the college and it is very useful for the students to join the college placements. Outcomes will be shown in the campus placements.

Placement Experience

From the end of the 3rd year 2nd semester, we will be able to join the college placements and get jobs in the campus itself. Eligibility for the students to join the college placements is that the students with zero backlog will be able to join. Infosys, Amazon, etc are the companies visited for our college. the highest package is 25lpa and the average package is 7lpa. The percentage of students getting placements are 65. I have a plan to do a job after my engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike policy is better when compared to other colleges. And the cost of the study is equivalent to the study that the faculty members are teaching to the students. The scholarship will be provided for the toppers of every semester and the students will be able to get scholarships for every year. There is no job till now because I am still pursuing my course. But I have enough confidence in getting the job.

Campus Life

Annual fest name colors and it will be conducted every year and it is very important to students to show there talent and skills. aslo we can interact with people. Books are available in the library so that we can get the books and after completing the work we can submit in the library. Sports and extracurricular activities are conducted for each branch of the college and they will give awards too. The social club are also there those names are Leo Club and NSS and those will be run by the students.

Likes

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Faculty is not soo well had a lit bit inconvenience
Hostel mess food is not good at some time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
