Remarks

Its better than most of the private colleges in UP, atleast in Lucknow. However, there is a lot to be done. Students needs to take initiatives and faculties needs to be more serious.

Entrance Preview

They had their own examination. During my time, anyone above 85% was directly admitted to the college so no exams.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

It was decent. But it wasn't followed that well. We had classes for maximum subjects of Computer Science. However, it was covered very slowly in the beginning and was rushed towards the end. All major subjects like Algorithm, Digital Electronics, Computer Graphics, Programming Languages were covered. However, more programming language and better lap assignments are needed.

Placement Experience

3

Too much dependency on the Noida Campus. Students have to go for the placement season to Noida from Lucknow. While many companies visited Noida campus, not all were opened for Lucknow campus students. Few companies came tol ucknow campus but none offered anything great.

College Events

3.5

There were 2 major events happening each year. One was the college fest, Samanvay. It was OK, but not much technical participation by students. Only a few of them would be involved in technical events. Nothing major came out. The evening functions such as DJ, bands were fun though. Other one is Sangatha, sports fest. This was pretty decent with good participation from students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is expensive. In 2008, it was around 50k per semester. There are some scholarships though based on the marks obtained in 12th. Even hostel fees was a little expensive, not sure though since I never lived in hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only scholarship was based on the marks obtained in class 12th. It will be continued if the student consistently performs well in the semesters.

Campus Life

4

Labs, libraries, sport facilities are all good. There are a few restaurants and cafes inside the campus. There is a decent gym. There is a mango orchard as well. Labs were equipped fine.

Hostel Facilities

4

I wasn't living in hostel so really can't saw. But with what I saw, the facilities were good. The mess food was also pretty decent for a hostel. There are many PGs near the campus with 4k-5k rent.

Alumni/Alumna

They have recently started an alumini network. Since it is very recent and I hadn't got any chance to explore it yet, can't really comment much on it.

Exam Structure

Semester are the major exams for 70%. There were mid semesters as well which constituted for 30% of the total marks. It was pretty chilled out.

Faculty

2.5

There were a few faulty who were really interested in teaching and were quite knowledgeable. There were also faculty who would give notes for photocopy and the their job ends there.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
