For admissions in LPU, you should have scored 60% or above in your intermediate from any recognized board. The application form, tuition fees, hostel fees, application dates, etc. is available on their website admissions.lpu.in. As it is a private university, they don't provide any type of reservation to any student.

For me the reason behind choosing CSE is, firstly Career opportunities- CSE has applications in almost every branch of science and engineering, So we had a wide variety of prospective careers to choose from and Secondly attractive pay packages. Most teachers are Ph.D. holders. You adopt inclusive learning strategies including several innovative teaching approaches that deal with the needs of students from diverse backgrounds. The semester exams are not much difficult but you had to score above 40% in every subject to pass the exams.

Students of the CSE branch are provided with opportunities for job training and full-time internship in reputed companies like Google, Intel, Cisco, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Texas Instruments, Tech Mahindra, Dell EMC, IBM, BOSCH, GeeksforGeeks, etc. With a stipend of around 5000-15000 per month.

Placements for CSE students are good in LPU because many companies visit the campus for their on-campus placement drive like Capgemini, Microsoft, tata consultancy services, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, etc. They provide packages as high as 42 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA IN CSE. Roughly about 80%-85% got on-campus placement from CSE. In 2021, Top recruiters are cognizant -739 students and Capgemini - 428 students, 11 students also got placement in Amazon. In CSE almost every students are provided with full-time internships opportunities and job training in reputed companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Bosch, etc. For a period of 6 months to a year. After 6th-semester students become eligible for campus placements.

LPU provides scholarships based on your board exam results. They also conduct an exam named LPU NEST in which you can get scholarships up to 45% of your tuition fees. For my batch 2020-2024, the tuition fee is 98,000 per semester for CSE students excluding scholarships. The average package for CSE students is around 4 lakhs.

Lpu provides you with an opportunity to pursue your extracurricular interests. In sports, the campus is equipped with all necessities like a swimming pool, basketball court, cricket ground, and much more. There is also an organization named "DIVISION OF STUDENTS WELFARE" fully dedicated to students' interests like singing, dancing, art, etc. We have one of the biggest libraries including each kind of book we also have columns for e-library we can access it from our home also.

For hostels, it provides various options like 1- seater non-AC, 2- seater non-AC, 3- seater non-AC ,4-seater non-AC 6-seater non-AC, 1- seater AC, 2- seater AC, 3- seater AC ,4-seater AC 6-seater AC, dormitory, 1seater apartment, 2-seater apartment. They had a very tight security in hostels and also provide free Wi-Fi. Each hostel has its own mess. There are variety of options in mess for food like veg, non-veg, Punjab, north indian, south indian, etc. There is also a place name LPU LAW GATE , 500 metres away from main LPU gate in which rooms at cheap rates are available for students.
