The admission was pretty easy as the selection was based on VITEE ranking and the board exam cut-off percentage. 50 percent minimum is required in the 12th to be eligible to get admission in vit. The improvement can be made by availing some guest house or resting place for parents who have to come to college for long day procedure of admission. Such caste-based reservations are not there but students scoring well in online tests and academics can avail scholarships. STAR(Supporting the advancement of Rural students) scheme is also there which also means full fee concession, hostel accommodation, and food to one girl and one boy district topper of Madhya Pradesh.

The course curriculum is designed on the structure of FFCS(Fully Flexible Credit System) which meant that student can design their timetable with whom teacher they need to study any respective subject and at what time from the whole day they can decide accordingly. If we talk about faculties then VIT BHOPAL has 100% Doctoral Faculty, experienced with excellent knowledge of practical and theoretical parts in their respective domain. Faculty-student ratio classes have an average student number of 35 students and are easily managed by faculties. Teaching methods are practical and urge student participation in classes and technology involvement. The exam pattern is like 3 exams in each Sem CAT1, CAT2, and TEE. In total we have 8 semesters. CAT1 and CAT2 both have 15% weightage, TEE has 30% weightage, 5% is for attendance, and the rest 35% weightage is for assignments, tutorials, presentations, activities conducted during the whole semester. Exams are moderate and material is shared by faculties inform of ppts.

As soon as students enter into their 3rd year they are bombarded with tons of internship opportunities, the most common thing they need to practice at that time is their Problem-solving skills which are Data Structure, and Algorithms. Also, students are required to make atleast 3-4 super cool projects in any of the domains as per their interest, which may be projects based on hot and new technologies including flutter, React Native, Web3 or it can be basic entry-level projects. Projects are good and students get good learning and stipend from it. The internships are a part of academic credits and also companies offer internships with good stipends. Like TCS, Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase & Co, Providence, Hewlett Packard, and many more such companies offer internships to students.

We have excellent college placements, in fact, for the last year batch of 2018, the percentage of students who got placed was 97% for all branches (including CSE, EEE, EC, Mechanical, etc). Also, the individual placement for the CSE batch of 2018 was 100% with an average package of 7 lakhs per annum. A total of 7070 offers has been made in last year's batch. For Btech students, Placement training is usually started from the 5th semester. And afterward very big MNCs and startups come into VIT BHOPAL including some service-based companies also such as Microsft, Amazon, DE Shaw, Swiggy, Paytm, Infosys, TCS, etc.

The fees structure is quite easy to understand and is designed on the basis of any student's VITEE entrance exam rank as well as their 12th Board exam cutoff. The hostel facilities are excellent we are living there in a completely secure environment, also the food quality is top-notch in the mess. We are served food from the mess into 4-time intervals a day Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, and Dinner, Also the hostel department takes care of our hygiene also, as a result of which housekeeping is done twice a day. Rooms are of different types like single bed, 2 bed, 4 and 6 bed. A laundry facility is also available at a rate of 15 rupees per pair of cloth. The hair salon is also available in the boy's hostel and a parlor facility is available in the girl's hostel. A medical facility is also there in a hostel, with 24*7 doctor's support available and 1 ambulance standing all the time for emergency cases. The variety of food is good and the amount is sufficient. Veg, Non-veg, Jain, and South Indian foods are available.
